Thank god the Mets are playing an actual MEANINGFUL game this coming Wednesday because the Jets sure as hell don't look like they'll be playing anything "meaningful" going forward.
Please win this game on Wednesday, Mets! At least to take the focus off of this Jets team that continues to be The Jets. Thanks.

What lineup do you guys want to see?
Reyes 3rd
Cabrera SS
Cespedes LF
Granderson CF
Bruce/Rivera RF/2nd
Rivera/Bruce 2nd/RF
Loney/Duda 1B
Rivera C
Syndergaard P
Seems to be not much up for debate ourside of Loney or Duda. You couls maybe argue Rivera hiting before Bruce as a Righty, and keeps a good Righty/Lefty Balance going.
Im leaning towards starting Loney. He has been hitting pretty good lately, and I could see how an average guy would have a better shot against Bumgardner, as opposed to an all or nothing type like Duda. Not to mention Loney is the superior fielder.

Mets hitters vs Bumgarner. Too bad Ruggiano is hurt. Looks like we should find a way to get Johnson into the lineup. 1B perhaps?  |
