to be fair, Dak didn't look this good in his senior year. He's high as shit on frosted flakes or something. I really liked what he did his junior year - but when i took a close look last season he was all over the place with touch and accuracy on anything past 10 yards. He didn't have great pocket presence at times either... Just goes to show, some kids adapt to the game around them. Some don't. Amazing what a good Oline can do for a team. lol you keep beating that drum, good sir. |

Hindsight is awesome! I actually liked Prescott more than most and said "He's what some teams thought Tebow would become. He won't put up 300 yards a game, but he wins." Just because he's producing now doesn't mean his tape warranted being taken higher. Lets see how he does next year when teams have tape on him. You're also asking someone who would have gladly taken Prescott over Hack. Aren't you a fan of Hack? You misunderstand me . I'm not talking hindsight, but just wondering if we knew, where would you have taken him . You said you liked him, so how high were you willing to take him ? I didn't like Prescott at all, but I liked Hack and wanted to take him where we did because I didn't think he would make it to our 3rd round pick . My QBs last year were Wentz, Cook, Hackenberg and Brissett . I didn't like Lynch, Goff or Prescott .
What I'm really saying, is I like these 3 guys, and I like all 3 enough to take any of em at 6 . I'm just hoping the decision gets made before 6 . Either the player gets taken, or someone makes an offer or I'm willing to make a move up for say Garrett . Jets need stars, so we have to take a guaranteed star with this top pick . For ALL of our sake, I hope you are right on both those picks. As Nosebleed argues, Macca's regime and immediate fate of this team depends on the 2 year Hack project working out. i just wish Macca gave himself some way to know along the way that his gambit was making progress... |

We're going to have to overpay a free agent O lineman to get him to sign with the Jets. We're going to have to overpay anyone that we want to bring in. That's just the way it is. The Jets are essentially in the same boat as the Browns and Jags at this point. Some over the hill media wanna be types will join us no problem. Note Woody, Richardson, Reed, Taylor, Lott, Marshall, Scott, Colon, Forte, LT the list goes on an on. We think it's a coup, but the Jets are just a way station. Yeah I know Marshall was traded but he's an obvious mark for my disgust lately. |
