Looks good. The only modifications I would make are adding some sort of veteran presence at QB and I'd like to sign an edge rusher in FA. I originally typed Glennon in there, as well as Perry... but then i pressed backspace. Mostly for money on Perry's part. I tried to imagine Mac signing Glennon to a Brock Osweiler contract and I couldn't see it. Both financially, and what that would say about his faith in drafting a QB... And after the Fitztragic escapade, i think we're all gunshy on the Cutlers of the league, no?

Would you take Glennon at that price?

Guarantees might not go beyond 2018, but he actually has a some positive tape out there. He's become the next Schaub, or Delhomme.

For all of you guys that are proponents of signing Whitworth maybe you can explain to me why he's playing guard tonight. Top 5 LT in the league....lmao. I can take this one. There was speculation all week that they would move Whitworth to Guard for the last 2 games to begin getting a look at Ogbuehi at LT. so there! That kid suck at LT when he was at A&M, but played better when he was at RT . Kind of like the kid the Jets drafted, Shell . If we keep that kid Shell at RT, we IMO, will have solid starters at RT, LG, and OC . IMO, we should move Ijalana to RG and find us a LT .

I saw the same thing -- also, Clint Boling is hurt, so they kicked Whitworth over to LG to replace Boling, also gave Ogbuehi a look at LT.

As we get closer I deviate towards what I think the Jets will do, this time around however, I'm going with what I would do. Notable moves: Cuts/FA: Giaco (Cut) Revis (retires), Winters (wants too much $$), Gilchrist (injury settlement/cut), Harris (part ways), Clady gone. Trade: Richardson to SF for a 3rd rnd pick (top of the 3rd). resign/restructure; Mangold FA signings; OT Andrew Whitworth, OG Ron Leary, CB D. Kirkpatrick, FS C. Conte, ILB K. Minter DRAFT:Jets trade back 8 spots (IND moves up to take Fournette to pair with Luck. We get a 2nd this year and 1st next year) 1- RB D. Cook (Fl St) 2- OLB T. McKinley (UCLA)... the real deal! 2- OT. F. Lamp (wku) 3- QB L. Falk (wazzu) 3- CB C. Sutton (ten) 4- TE J. Sprinkle (Ark) 5- WR J. Lane (arkron) Loose roster:QB: Petty, Falk, Hackenberg RB: Cook, Powell, Forte WR: Marshall, Decker, Q Enunwa, R Anderson, D Smith, J Lane TE: ASJ, Sprinkle, Bostick OL: Whiteworth, Carpenter, Leary, Mangold, W. Johnson, B. Shell, F. Lamp DL: Williams, Wilkerson, McLendon, Simon LB: Lee, Jenkins, Mauldin, McKinley, Minter, Ochi DB: Kirkpatrick, Burris, Skrine, Pryor, Conte, Sutton, Williams Thoughts? Would you be excited? As bad as the Colts are at trading and the draft, I don't think they would ever give up that much to move up 8 spots. They need only refer to the handy trade value calculator to know that the trade is terrible for them. It would have to be more like our First and Third round pick for their First and Second round pick, which works value-wise and I would do in a second if I was the Jets. We'd still have two second round picks needed for your draft above. But only one Third round pick, which is fine because we've got enough QB's to develop so no QBs in the draft this season. Just sign Mike Glennon to compete with Petty and Hack.

You can officially scratch Luke Falk off your mock offseason. Kid is going back to Wazu for another year.

Darnold, Falk and Rosen in 2018. Go with Hackenberg and Petty next year and if we still need a QB our record will be shit, and we pick one of those. Hopefully Darnold.
