Choo Choo!
You know it's leaving the station after shredding that vaunted Alabama D for 420 yards, 3 TDs and 0 INTs.

I'm not saying I want him, but there are certain things successful QBs have that you can't teach. He has those things.
His reads and his accuracy are issues. Those things can be improved on.
Someone is going to take him high, and I won't be surprised if he succeeds.

His reads and his accuracy are issues. We've had enough of those projects. I'll pass.

I'm not saying I disagree, and I'm not saying I want Watson, but I truly think the days of the great QB prospect are over. Other than a rare, rare occasion going forward, every college QB is going to be a project to some degree until college and NFL sync back up in offensive style.

it's amazing how everyone still wants Hackenberg to be the starting QB here after a rather lackluster career in college, but no one wants this stud that just won a national championship and shredded an awesome defense.

Right now he is one option, not saying he will be successful but he is prototype if he can overcome his beating.

Nothing amazing about this. Plenty of winning college QBs turn to be meh in the pros. Watson is intriguing for sure, but the Jets have to draft some every down studs, whether it's Offense or Defense, to help build this the right way. Let's see what Hackenberg can do. Mac saw enough of Hack to draft him so why not ride this out, and if the season is shit, and Hack is shit, then you have better QB prospects the year after.

Get the parts this year to support and protect our rookie Qb in Sept 2018. Rb, Oline maybe even a CB as well.

As far as I'm concerned, the only QB the Jets should pursue this offseason other than a low cost JAG like Hoyer or McGloin is Mike Glennon.
A 6'6 230 quarterback with a rocket arm entering his 5th year and has shown plenty of promise in the past.
I have no interest at all in guys like Romo, Tyrod, Cutler, Kaepernick, RG III, etc.
And I'm not taking a mediocre prospect in the draft like Trubisky, Watson or Kizer over someone like Fournette, Cook, Adams or Hooker.
Especially since in all likelihood the Jets are going to suck next year as well and kids like Darnold, Rosen and Falk could all be entering the draft.
