I'm drafting CLE for what i think they will/should do...
I'm drafting for NY purely on what I would do as a GM.
We'll listen to offers for bit.

Was tempted to go the receiver (or even TE) route at #5, but couldn't pass up a guy like Adams. He'll lead that Titans D for the next decade. It's the right pick. As much as Mariota needs more weapons, titans secondary is lifeless.

To me, the most logical picks are Adams or Mike Williams at 5. I could see Tenn wanting to add a weapon or two for Mariota. But you can still do that later in the draft.

CLE's making an offer, but not sure its worth it. I am confused. Is Cleveland making an offer to the Jets? You cannot trade with the Jets since they are both your teams.

Jags pick Fournette - I really would have preferred trading down and taking Cook, but I didn't want to hold up the process waiting to find someone who might want to trade. So are YOU picking Fournette, or do you think the Jags will. i think it's horrible pick for the Jaguars IMO. They've got plenty invested at the position. Howard or Adams makes way more sense. I think they'll do everything to trade out of the spot come draft day. I'm doing what I think the Jags will do, even though it's not what I would do....especially at 4. Nevertheless, I don't think it's a horrible pick for them at all. They don't have much invested at all in the position other then Ivory, cuttable after this year. After that, the only serviceable back on the roster is Yeldon and he's on the back end of cheap deal. I think he's got 2 years left with caps hits of around $2 million each year and little dead money. Add on the fact that you've got Coughlin and Marrone calling the shots and you know that they are going to want to run a more ball control offense and take pressure off of Bortles. You can always argue the value of taking a RB in the top 10....but Fournette can help this team make a big leap and if they take him and end up being competitive this year and possibly compete for a wild card the year after, no one is going to complain that they spent #4 on a RB.

Ultimately, if you feel confident (enough) about the off-field stuff, then Cook is #1 playmaker in this draft on offense IMO. The Jets did their homework, and feel good enough about where things are with Cook. There's some risk, but we've laid out our expectations.
The top priority is giving our QB(s) a chance to succeed this year and beyond -- and with no OT worth a selecting a good running game is a quarterback's best friend.

Fournette is head and shoulders above Yeldon/Ivory, but i think there's enough talent there that Howard should be their #1 target if they can trade back. I get the pick, I just think they'll try to move back and get a TE. Like the Jets, i think the Jags are peeved there's no tackles in this draft.

I still love Cook despite the so so combine, but I think that and his off the field troubles drop him to the bottom 3rd of the 1st round. He's definitely a player you draft off what you see on the field. He's the only reason FSU beaten Miami the last 3 years. Even when they had Winston they would have lost if not for Cook. A lot of people compare him to Jamaal Charles, but I think he's more of an Arian Foster. Foster had a medicore Pro Day and still was a top back for awhile. Foster Pro Day: Height: 6'1 Weight: 215lb 40 Yard Dash: 4.69 10 Yard Split: 1.62 Reps: 23 Vert: 32" Broad: 115" 20 Yard Shuttle: 4.53 3 Cone: 7.09
