I'm not a big Malik Hooker fan for the reasons that HN and Lith stated. That being said, I would not hate the pick because his skillset would fit very nicely with what the Jets have in the secondary. He would allow Pryor to play closer to the line (where he is a much more successful player).

I'm feeling like it's either gonna be Adams or Hooker. That's who they want. As each day passes the less confident I feel in it being an offensive pick. Surprise surprise. The two biggest pieces missing (other then QB duh) are the O-line and the defensive backfield. It's a lot easier to fix the oline through free agency and later round draft picks then it is the fix the defensive backfield. It wouldn't shock me at all if we see two dbs taken with the first four picks. |

But if we were going to pick an offensive player at 6, I want Fournette or OJ Howard. Williams would be the only other one I would consider. I have really been thinking that the Jets would go defense with either Adams or Hooker. But I also believe that the FO wants Hack to be the QB this year. I know that I could be off base on this but I think they're going to give him every shot to win the job. And if that's the case, they are going to want... need... to give him the weapons to succeed. That would make picking an offensive player like Fournette, Howard or Williams even more important. |

I want Fournette or OJ Howard. Williams would be the only other one I would consider. That is pretty much my wish lists right now. We need young playmakers, and those are the top 3. I would add Cook to the mix, but the off field issues and a tendency to put the ball on the ground at FSU scare me. With a trade back, maybe, but not at 6. |

Also this TE class seems to be stacked so I would rather take a chance on someone in the 2nd or 3rd round or even later. |

What is about the Jets, that we're so scared of putting ourselves out there with the biggest and the best? |
