Too much politics and no religion threads here.
I'll start.
We need MORE abortions.
Islam is OK.
We should say Happy Holidays.
Thoughts?

Religion is for soft heads. May as well stick with worshiping the sun and moon.
There, I said it.

Seems like a perfect business model. Its harder than it looks. The beginning is the roughest. (See: David Koresh) They chased the Mormons clear across the country killing them on their way. Scientology did it right by nabbing a few closeted gay celebrity spokespeople. But I could see you starting something. The Church of the Holy Moly Perfect Ass. I'm in.

I'd like to see an actual study. Best to ask JT I'm guessing. But celebrating commercialized holidays does not imply that I am a religious person, amirite?

But celebrating commercialized holidays does not imply that I am a religious person, amirite? No just a hypocrite. I KID I KID. Religion is one of the most fascinating things about man. I have a friend who left the Catholic Church...railed against it..HATED IT. Fast forward...he gets married, has kids, I'm going to one's confirmation.

I asked why and he said he had to deal with it why shouldn't they. I think it is just cover for him being brain washed.

They're all nonsense. Believing some guy in the clouds is looking over us is about as realistic as some fat guy going down chimneys and delivering presents to us one night a year. One was created to keep adults in line and the other was created to keep children in line. Be good in life and you'll go to heaven when you die or be good all year and you'll get presents instead of coal.
I'd give some other metaphors for other religions, but i don't care enough about their nonsense to even bother. Religion is for the brainwashed.
