I'd argue this point with you and point to Comey's own testimony that there are ongoing investigations of Trump campaign ties to Russia. Or point to the subpoenas issued today to associates of Flynn. But you will deflect...and ultimately I would end up arguing with myself. So, we will just let this play itself out. Ongoing investigations that have yielded nothing for almost a year. Nothing. His entire operation was under surveillance. And who gave Flynn his top security clearance? Tell me, worst case scenario, what do you think they find on Trump? You think he cut a check to Assange? Did he really do watersports with those Russian hookers? Who knows. Time will tell. And yes...I do think that Trump enjoys a yellow shower.

The investigating authorities could very well be getting their ducks in a row and taking their time. If you read about the Iran Contra hearings, many of the people involved regretted losing out on convictions because they rushed through things and granted immunity when they shouldn't have. This doesn't mean Trump or his campaign did anything wrong because we have not had a formal announcement of that yet either, but you shouldn't be counting your chickens before they hatch.

So, is there a point in time where you think the investigation should end or do we just wait until they find the Matryoshka doll in Trump's apartment 10 years from now?

Trump should dog and pony show Preet Bharrara like he did with Mitt Romney. Then nominate Giuliani LOL.

I can only imagine what is in Trump's apartment. Actually, I don't want to know! As to the investigation(s), no rush. Let's just see where it leads. With the number of subpoenas out there, there is smoke. Will there be fire? My gut says yes, in one form or another.

Seems rather convenient to fire the guy investigating you. Hah? He publicly spelled out Shrillary's crimes..then immediately went into defense atty. mode to minimize them. Thousands of emails from Shrillary to Huma then Porn-boy Wieners lap-top...no debate about it, even from the left...it really happened...then no prosecution? Not exactly a monument to Law Enforcement. Gonna have to agree with you here Capt Green. That was the most blatant messed up bs I have ever seen besides Making a Murderer. And then those morons actually tried to blame him after he defense moded them... WLF

An old lesson from Watergate ( for those of you old enough to remember). The coverup is always worse than the crime. This is about to get interesting. Republican Senators are already lining up. (Read the comments from Burr tonight). The special prosecutor is coming next....then it will spiral downward. This will yield nothing. Politics as usual. And I didn't vote Trump or Hillary. This

Im hoping this means he is bringing in someone who is going to go after the Clintons. I think Sheriff Clarke is a long shot but man wouldnt that be incredible. BTW, if you are watching CNN you would think Trump has people in the FBI now putting all the documents in the shredder. A default iOS and Android "news" sauce that 99% of my generation gets their "news" from. Incredible. Same people that think Sally Yates delivered the Gettysburg Address yesterday. Interestingly.... I have little doubt Trump was involved in anything with Russia, that said... this may simply now be a "OK, I will bring charges against the Clintons" if you continue your bullshit. That said... Comey , IMO, needed to go. Couldn't do it day one as Trump had no cabinet in place, especially the AG. But we can all agree that Comey played a role in the election. His display of Hillary clearly sending classified material across basically an "AOL" account was disturbing and THEN right before the election to address Hillary again was "politics". Im all for it as it helped get Hillary "not elected" but it reeks of impropriety.

I've heard people ("expert" pundits) argue that Lynch meeting with Bill on the tarmac forced his hand in coming forward about the investigation. That and the Associate Director McCabe's wife having a very close relationship with the Clinton all while him being in charge of the investigation. Two things that people who get their news from Twitter and push notifications probably know nothing about. This is what happens when the FBI and CIA is filled with political appointees and loyalists. Nearly every agency we have in government is politically charged. Im hoping this helps blow the lid off the Clinton thing. Like I said before, I was willing to let it go away for the sake of the country and moving on but these fucking Clintons are still trying to piss in the well. She needs to go to jail.

So with all the investigating that was conducted during the election by the media, Hillary and probably fellow republicans trying to discredit Trump where all they found was an stupid comment in an Entertainment Tonight interview and a fake dossier you still think Trump is dirty and believe the fake dossier? If there was more Hillary's huge machine would have found it.

While I disagree with prosecuting Clinton at this stage, Bill Clinton is responsible for all of this. Were it not for his ill advised decision to meet Loretta Lynch on the tarmac, the matter would have stayed within the DOJ. The Clintons are incredibly tone deaf on how their words and acts are going to be viewed in public.

Grand jury subpoenas announced regarding Flynn's people. No matter how you feel about Trump, until this investigation is resolved (one way or the other), its not a good look for our country. Dims will drag this out for years, and never let it go.

Federal grand-jury subpoena. Sounds so scary. Then you read the fine print.
They're trying to hang Flynn on a $45,000 appearance he made in Russia. He didn't disclose what he made on the trip but he did inform the DoD that he was making the trip and speaking there.
$45,000. How many hundred of millions did the Clintons receive from foreign governments and businesses?
