I really trust John Morton to develop a QB. If he can make McCown look good he should do wonders for a young talented QB. Let the Browns take Rosen and they'll just ruin him. It takes more than your own talent to succeed. Just ask Andrew Luck. I hope Mac defers to Morton on the QB pick. Shit, I think Morton would even succeed with that little asshole at Oklahoma.
Really, when was the last time the jets had a halfway decent coach running the O? Morton is a game changer when it comes to the jets finally drafting and developing a QB, and actually running a real NFL offense.

I think realistically we could jump to 3. _ If we lose out, I still think there's an outside chance at the 2 pick. SF has been close in so many games. They get the Cards and the Giants the next two weeks, both at home. Still have games @ Chicago and at home to Tenn. But again, we'd have to lose out. At this point, getting the #2 pick is the absolute best we could hope for, just pray for at least #3.

OT: DeShaun Watson looked amazing in yesterdays game. I have no idea how such a skinny-seeming kid has such a big arm.
HOU "reached" at 12 to take him - SMH. This front office better be knee-deep in evaluating every QB - I don't want to draft any other position simply because we're out of the top 3 spots.

Watson could have been throwing those bombs to Robbie Anderson instead of Fuller.

Yeah, the guys in the FO at Houston are geniuses, but the coaching staff must be a bunch of dolts because after practicing with Watson for mini camp, training camp, and an entire pre-season they all agreed that Tom Savidge was better.

Now its time to pray that Cleveland decides to sign Cousins so that they can take Barkley number 1 overall (which would actually be a decent move since he is the best player in the draft).

When it comes to picking QBs, sometimes you are better off being lucky than good. Unfortunately, we have been neither lucky nor good.

Ive seen us 6th and 9th depending on the list, based on SOS. The SOS numbers Ive seen differ - some say .546/7 and picking 9th, some say .508 and picking 6th. Either way, there's still a chance to end up as high as 3, or at least top 5.
