That was the year we traded up for Sanchez... What I did lament over that year was the possibilities of running two TE formations (Keller + Pettigrew), or 12 personnel as they call it. I was of course ridiculed. Meanwhile, NE went ahead and drafted Gronk and Hernie to do exactly that and were applauded of course. Since then, the 12 personnel formation has become popular. Just sayin |

I think the top 4, in no particular order, are Rosen, Darnold, Jackson and Mayfield. Honestly, I'm fine with any of them. However, as long as we are picking no deeper than 10-12, I think Maccagnan is going to trade up for Rosen. I have no insight from the team, but there have been a couple of reports this year of Jets scouting UCLA games.
2 years ago, the Eagles traded 2 number one picks, 2 number 3 picks and a number 4 pick to trade into the number 2 spot so they could take Wentz (Philly also received a number 4 pick). Would you be willing to do that for Rosen or Darnold? I think I'd be ok with it.

Baker Mayfield. He's my guy. _ Why? I watched a lot of the game yesterday and was not overly impressed with either Qb. Mayfield did look better then Rudolph but neither of the defenses is worth a shit. Not a big cfb watcher though. |
