Can anyone find the # of snaps taken under center by these guys?

If anyone is doubting Darnold, they should watch this game. We need, Cleveland to win a game, SF to lose out and then we need to work a deal with them. _ Mayfield looked pretty good as well. I know there is a height issue but TCU has a very strong D.

I have heard some folks say he could be the highest ceiling of every QB this year. IF developed correctly. I hope the fuck they are right. And miraculously figure out how to develop QBs. _

Allen is trash, no wonder we like him.

How many times are college QB's completing under 60% of their passes going to be taken and completely bust before it finally stops?

College Stats
Hackenberg: 56.1% Jake Locker: 54% Jay Cutler 57.2% Blaine Gabbert: 60.9% Logan Thomas: 55.5% Tom Savage: 56.8%
IT DOESNT HAPPEN

How many times are college QB's completing under 60% of their passes going to be taken and completely bust before it finally stops? Concur. I had massive fights with some dick over at TGG where he tried to convince me that Connor Cook was a better prospect than Marcus because he played in a pro-style offense. He was a sub 58% QB and Marcus was about 67%. Connor Cook sucked in college and had sucked in the pros and can't get on the field. _

Josh Allen is the worst guy we could pick among the names mentioned for the first round. It would also tell me that Mac can't assess quarterbacks properly putting his faith blindly in physical characteristics and the ever entrancing "upside"

Given how coy Maccagnan usually is about these things, I have serious doubts about the Allen reports.

The Allen report is bullshit. Our buddy with inside knowledge already blew the horn on this thing a while ago. Yes, they're doing added homework on him. I guess Matt Miller has decided to translate that into LOVE... fuck off. I'm pretty sure Allen is the ONLY QB we can be sure Macc will pass on. Too many Hack similarities.
In real news; sounds like Rosen is #1 on our board at this time, and we're open to trading up for him, or anyone else really. We're giving serious consideration to Baker Mayfield.
I can't wait to be past this fucking phase and finally just be cheering for our franchise QB on Sunday. It's been since 2010.

I've really come around on Baker Mayfield. Very often he seems to know where the open receiver will be before the ball is snapped, so he's out there reading defenses and he might be the most accurate passer in the class. Plus, he's got the leadership and intensity stuff in spades. While his height is not ideal, it is really the thing that makes him special. I don't think he'd be playing with such a big chip on his shoulder if he was 6'4". I'll always take a player who feels he has something to prove over a guy who feels he is just fulfilling his potential.
On a side note, I get why NFL teams discriminate against short QB's. But, do colleges do as well? Two and half years years ago Mason Fine was coming out of Locust Grove High School in Oklahoma. He was the only player to win the Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year in consecutive seasons. He finished his career with a 42-8 record and set Oklahoma high school career records with 13,081 passing yards and 166 touchdowns. Yet, at 5'10" (probably closer to 5'9"), he received only one Division 1 offer, and the offer was made late in the year by a coach who had just been hired for his first HC job, Seth Litrell at the University of North Texas (C-USA). In his sophomore season, he has led UNT to a 7-3 record and they've already clinched the West Division of C-USA. He's completing 63% of his passes and is in the top 20 in the nation in yards and TD's. He's averaging 280 yards/game and 2.2 TD's against less than 1 interception per game. So, he's basically doing what you would expect a kid with his high school resume to do, and he's got two more years as the starter. So, what gives? Why did he have to wait for Seth Litrell, a native Oklahoman, (who by the way is from a legendary Oklahoma football family - both he and his dad were captains of OSU National Championship teams) to get a job to even get a division 1 scholarship offer? I mean, the kid will likely never be a pro, but based on his HS accomplishments and what he has done so far in college, I am flummoxed by the fact that he was ignored by every division 1 program until Litrell came along. Is it really possible that every other Division 1 program -- I'm talking teams like Rutgers, Temple, Connecticut, etc... thought he could never be successful in college because of his was under 5'10"? It makes absolutely no sense to me.

Missed the weekly TV update.
GFY.
Darnold v Rosen at 8:00. ABC.
Holy fuck watching Baker Mayfield now.
I hate the concept of the "It" factor but if "It" exists, he's got it.
That last TD pass for a TD was just beautiful.
Extended the play whilst rolling right, kept his eyes downfield, found an open guy and hit him perfectly.
I gotta say, he could be the guy.

Give me Mayfield, I'm sold on this dude.
Trade up if you have to, we have to leave the first round with a fucking QB.
