Wow... What a great game. Incredible. I’m thinking college is a better product than the NFL. _

So who/what positions are Jets targeting with our high 2nds?

So who/what positions are Jets targeting with our high 2nds? Offensive Line. Either Tackle or Center. I would love to leave the draft with 2 Linemen being added to the team.

Really hoping Mayfield is our pick. Check out these graphs created by a Browns fan for Adjusted completion percentage. imgur.com/a/FHOAF

One less stupid fucking win and we don’t even need to trade to jump the Broncos. Two less and we’re sitting at the 2. But hey those wins felt GREAT. _

Like Brick and Mangold or in 1977 and 78 when they used their first round picks in successive years to select bookend Tackles Marvin Powell and Chris Ward. It's never a bad idea to go O-line early in the draft, it solves a lot of problems for a long time. However, this is a unique draft QB-wise and you have to go QB in the first round when an opportunity like this presents itself.

So who/what positions are Jets targeting with our high 2nds? I think it’s almost a given we don’t have one of those 2’s and likely neither. But hey, we won some gritty games. And got to dance on the field. _

Not much difference in the second available tier. Indy stays and goes OT. CLE takes Barkley. DEN brings in a vet QB (Cousins, Eli or Smith) and almost certainly goes DE, with Wolffe and Crick both not great and both recovering from injury. A real DE rush with their LB play makes them pretty fearsome. Together with a legit QB they are right back to being a contender. IMO the Jets will have pick of Allen, Mayfield or Jackson at #6.

I keep trying to convince myself of that same scenario. But I’m also thinking we (i) try to trade to the 1 if Cleveland really loves any of Mayfield Allen or Jackson and gamble they can get them at 4 or (ii) if Denver doesn’t sign a vet and Mac is fearful that they will pick his QB on the 5, we trade to 3 or 4- neither of which will pick a QB there. _
