I think you checked off a few "Firsts" on that trip. The finger in the ass wasn't a first. Just sayin Now why would 32 allow a Frenchman to stick a finger up his ass? _

Just home from surgery. I did not want to answer in the inmates thread for fear of turning it into a cancer thread.
BX - Radiation is to kill any remaining cancer cells that have not fully developed. That treatment would likely keep it from returning in that location.
Stokes - regarding the radiation treatment. The neck has much different side effects. I can loose my taste buds, which for a foodie would really suck. In rare cases some people have everything they put in their mouths tastes so bad they need regular hospital stays to be feed through a tube.
Spit glans and Thyroid are almost always killed. I can deal with the fatigue, burns and what not. It is the rest of the side effects that concern me.
I meet with the team next week to discuss options and go forward plans. I have very little space left in my neck for any future operations in that location. I may not really have much choice in the matter.
Fuck cancer.

Being on Synthroid for the rest of your life isn't the worst thing ever, so long as you have a doc who looks at more than TSH levels when adjusting your dosing/adjunct meds. Pilocarpine is a med that's given for lack of saliva production following radiation treatment, so you may have that or a similar class of drug prescribed. When you're faced with stuff like this, it's tough early on to accept the above as being comforting, but as they say, it's better than the alternative. Small comfort and more of a empty platitude until you reach a point of perspective and acceptance that allows for those feelings, though. My advice is to focus on the immediate, forget the future. Treat it as a task at hand and go from there. Worked for me.

Dude, this Is a Teh Hampur, every thread is a cancer thread. When my pancreas went nuts I didn't eat or drink for three months and was fed thru a tube. When I finally was allowed to eat again everything tasted like shit. I'm a meat and potatos guy but that really sucked. Eventually my taste buds came back though. Instead of radiation have you thought about trying the experimental treatment by Timmay? It works on bees so who knows. Yeah, fuck cancer. We're all pulling for you. When you get down just remember there's a light at the end of the tunnel. It's all of us on the D train and we got 32Green to flash his tin so we aren't bothered by the transit cops. Stokes is cooking, Gunnails is bringing the weed, and we got tons of hotties waiting for ya. Hang in there.

Any more surgery will have a real negative affect on the shape and look of the neck. Right now the left side of my mouth is not working like it used to. Not terrible but different. Not certain how more surgery could be worse then not being able to spit. I also have real concerns of it spreading. Fucking stuff grows and you cannot tell until it hits some thing important or you notice a lump. Radiation would greatly limit the chance of that. Then a year of Immunotherapy should eradicate altogether. What a shitty lottery to win eh. Kicking cancers ass since 5-23-17.

Here, I just saved your life. You're welcome. "Did you know that eating a vagina could save you from fatal diseases such as cancer and heart disease? And with serious illness spreading at an endemic pace, medical experts have been under the gun to find cures or at least treatments for the ever- growing list of ailments plaguing the human race. Enter the vagina. No, seriously, do it. According to research that was conducted in the State University of New York, the most important meal for a man is a vagina, unless of course you're Michael Douglas, who famously blamed his throat cancer on cunnilingus. Cancer preventing hormones such as DHEA and Oxytocin flourish during cunnilingus, and therefore during the act, both the recipient and the performer are actively battling carcinogenic toxins. It's a win-win. So next time you dive deep know that you are potentially shrinking tumors, fighting malignancy, and staving off a slow, painful death." www.popdust.com/studies-show-that-eating-pussy-prevents-cancer-1892261093.html

Sex was the first thing to happen once we got home. We then passed out and took a nice 2 hour naked nap. Live is good. Thanks for the tip.
