Here, I just saved your life. You're welcome. "Did you know that eating a vagina could save you from fatal diseases such as cancer and heart disease? And with serious illness spreading at an endemic pace, medical experts have been under the gun to find cures or at least treatments for the ever- growing list of ailments plaguing the human race. Enter the vagina. No, seriously, do it. According to research that was conducted in the State University of New York, the most important meal for a man is a vagina, unless of course you're Michael Douglas, who famously blamed his throat cancer on cunnilingus. Cancer preventing hormones such as DHEA and Oxytocin flourish during cunnilingus, and therefore during the act, both the recipient and the performer are actively battling carcinogenic toxins. It's a win-win. So next time you dive deep know that you are potentially shrinking tumors, fighting malignancy, and staving off a slow, painful death." www.popdust.com/studies-show-that-eating-pussy-prevents-cancer-1892261093.htmlI just told my wife she is saving my life twice. Sex was the first thing to happen once we got home. We then passed out and took a nice 2 hour naked nap. Live is good. Thanks for the tip. I laud you for having your priorities in order. Nothing better than sex with your loved one then a long nap together. Here's hoping all turns out well for you, TK.

Ooof. Being on Synthroid for the rest of your life isn't the worst thing ever, so long as you have a doc who looks at more than TSH levels when adjusting your dosing/adjunct meds. Pilocarpine is a med that's given for lack of saliva production following radiation treatment, so you may have that or a similar class of drug prescribed. When you're faced with stuff like this, it's tough early on to accept the above as being comforting, but as they say, it's better than the alternative. Small comfort and more of a empty platitude until you reach a point of perspective and acceptance that allows for those feelings, though. My advice is to focus on the immediate, forget the future. Treat it as a task at hand and go from there. Worked for me. I am pretty much at the point of acceptance to be honest. Any more surgery will have a real negative affect on the shape and look of the neck. Right now the left side of my mouth is not working like it used to. Not terrible but different. Not certain how more surgery could be worse then not being able to spit. I also have real concerns of it spreading. Fucking stuff grows and you cannot tell until it hits some thing important or you notice a lump. Radiation would greatly limit the chance of that. Then a year of Immunotherapy should eradicate altogether. What a shitty lottery to win eh. Kicking cancers ass since 5-23-17. Do they check your tumor markers every 3 months? Do they do that for your brand of cancer? I remember that was always the most stressful times waiting for the markers to come back under 40- which indicated an absence of tumor activity. Worst day ever when they spiked to 47 then 2 days later 49 and it was clear we had a recurrence. _

They send me for these specialized cat scans where I need to drink something an hour prior and then they hook me up to an IV for contrast. It lights up the cancer in the body. So far it has only been in the neck. Fortunate for sure. The surgeon said having neck muscles the size of the typical persons quad really helped with the detection and the lack of visible loss post op. I agree waiting for results is a horrible state to be in. UNC Melanoma clinic has really been fantastic with getting us the info quickly and not waiting for the next "visit" to tell us. Helps with sleeping for sure.

I remember them telling us she couldn't get through the White House detectors for a month after getting the Gallium lol. _

Shit. I haven’t been around much lately. Been protesting against 32 kneeling during mod meetings.
Anyway, this was not the thread I wanted to read... at least what is going on it’s it.
Fuck cancer. Saying a prayer for you. Keep the faith brother.
Not being able to spit as a Jets fan seems cruel.
Oh... and since nobody else said it...
Cancer sex pics or it didn’t happen.

So 9 radiation treatments done, 16 more to go. Mouth is getting a bit sore and the neck is red but so far intact. No flaking or cracking. Using a 70 g tube of Calendula every 5 days helps. Nausea sucks though thank God for Zophran(sp). Shit is amazing for nausea. Not eating as I used to but still getting enough to be ok. Fatigue has not yet kicked in. The Doc's are surprised I am still working full time and doing some workouts. Overall not bad. Not that I recommend it for shits and giggles but it really has not been terrible. My story certainly could change in three weeks though. Shit is cumulative.
Cancer sucks, but cancer treatments they really suck.
I am off to try and find Rick Simpson...Wish me luck!!
