I found out this afternoon surgery is set for 0730 Monday. I need to be there at 0600, which should not be a problem because sleep probably will not be happening anyway. I do not even know how long it takes. I know I suck as a pt. I will try to post Monday night from the hospital. Yep one night stay. Tells me this is serious shit. I had back surgery 2 years ago and was not at the hospital 6 hours total. Fuck cancer Good luck. Here's hoping your nurse looks like this:  Totally inappropriate. What are you, French? _ |

I have a pic of my eye surgery, asked the doctor if I could take a selfie and he laughed and said absolutely. It's an incredibly awesomely awful picture. Maybe I'll post it. _ You were in recovery post op right? Or was it pre-op? Nothing really to see now except 2 bumps a little smaller than a golf ball. Post- op it will be covered pretty tight due to risk of infection I would think. Once we get home and the wifne does a bandage and drain change now that could be a fucking sight. Good idea. |

Good idea. lol my eye surgery was done 90% under general but the last 10% fully awake under local. Literally he was tugging on the eye muscles to confirm that my double vision had been fully corrected. I'll post tomorrow. Cross will have a feast for years. Don't be a pussy. They better have a God damn snack at the end of this. Tonight, maybe around 11:30-Midnight, make sure you eat a huge meal of mussels, scungilli, and clams. Ideally in thick red sauce fortified with tons of garlic and heavy cream. I'm told it settles the stomach and makes all surgeries a cake walk. lol Seriously, good luck. |
