The event is bipartisan. I described it as "practicing for their charity baseball game" bc to all participants in a game it is their game. The Dems can say it is their game. Not sure what the hang-up is on that. As for the death of the shooter, I said he was "supposedly" shot dead on the scene. Hardly an absolute declaration. And I think we all have been around long enough to realize early reports and witness accounts are often inaccurate. It gets mentioned in a lot of threads. I would suggest it goes without saying. I think that we can all agree, somehow some way the tone needs to change in this country. That goes for all sides. Just look at some of the stuff posted on here. There needs to be a line of civility. Now I know some will scream "it's my right as an American to say whatever I want". I just think that there is a difference between healthy debate and slinging crap that just inflames everyone. I hold my internet buddies to different standards than I hold politicians and journalists to. Bond has an audience of 5 people here, Tim Kaine and Shaun King have millions. And because of social media there is a currency to be gained from being controversial or extreme. 20 years ago the extremists had very few places to commiserate. Today it is a click away for them. I've had this conversations in other threads but I think our brains are not capable of healthily digesting all the information that is being constantly thrusted at us. Too much stimuli. I quit facebook and twatter a long time ago. Have a small IG account for friends and family but that is it. People need to cut the cord, go outside and talk to their neighbors. I think they will find the world is a lot better than we think it is.

One day we need to share a watermelon. I'll even pay.... You make the fried chicken, I'll bring the watermelon. Seriously, the three melons I've had already this spring/summer were as good as any I had all last year. Delicious. My older daughter is addicted and can eat a while one by herself in a weekend. _ Had a terrible one on Memorial Day. I thought for sure it was gonna be a good when I bought it. It sounded perfect when I knocked on it.

I buy the eastern peaches that start out yellow and within 2 days they are good/great. _

You call that an apology? I'm quite capable of determining when I will apologize for something. If I demanded apologies for half of the crap posted on here, I'd be up to my ass in apologies from several posters. Sooo...was that it?

An early warm spell in February, followed by a cold spell in March was disastrous. Perhaps your peaches are domestic, from NJ.

My absolute all time favorite fruit and GA peaches the best I've ever had. _

No matter how shitty a political parties ideas are, and both parties are filled with them, there is never a reason to try and kill them. Rot in hell, shitbag shooter.
Just sayin, but how come these congressmen weren't at work? It was a Wednesday. Shouldn't they have been in the office, doing things to try and make this country better, secure, etc? Instead, out throwing the ball around.

Or at least shorten it.

When this was first reported, the event was described as bipartisan. Obviously, that is wrong. As for the second point, the guy was alive when DD wrote his post. Unless DD has magical abilities to look into the future, his original post was incorrect. You call that an apology? The victim classes never apologize for their sociopathic acts - the Man in any manifestation is always to blame
