I'm 100% pro 2nd Amendment, but I think there should be a psychiatric evaluation done on everyone who wants the obtain one. Mandatory gun safes for anyone eligible, with a fingerprint lock to open it. I don't think that's asking too much.

There's a huge mental health care failure component that runs like a vine through many of these incidents. However...I dont see it here. The fuckin former Democratic mayor of Alexandria (where this occurred) was emailing this chooch and chatting with him at the Y almost until the day of this incident. He saw no problems with this guy. Maybe he had no problem with the things the guy was saying?  |
