After watching some more tape of this guy I don't understand the pick in round three. He's basically a mini Enunwa coming out of college that is thirty pounds lighter and three inches shorter. He blocks well and plays hard but his hands are suspect at best. He is not a natural receiver at all. I don't see the elusiveness that he should possess with his combine numbers in the three games I watched.....he only thrived when nobody touched him. That concussion in the Ole Miss game was barely contact and he's on the shelf. I don't see his game transitioning to the next level unless you're looking for a few quick hitters. Any thoughts? Chad Hansen is up next.

That's disappointing to hear. At the time I wanted Godwin, but then convinced myself that I liked the pick since it was at least a WR. Time will tell, but not that optimistic.

I said something similar when it happened. Anything questionable pick by Mac. Turning the page onto Hansen until Stewart gives me reason to think otherwise.

I didn't particularly like the pick. He seems to me like a physical slot guy who you can move around in certain sub packages. Best case scenario? A poor man's Percy Harvin?
I did see Stewart in person on Thursday and he was bigger than I expected. Chad Hansen looks like an accountant in person.

The dude is showing good hands.
Starting to love this guy. Let's see him run with the call after the catch.

Stewart is growing on me as well. He seems like a gamer. Hopefully he starts taking Kerley's snaps.

That running back who we passed on - who's presently crushing records in the NFL... Do you love him that much. Cause when fucking loser Canadians who've never even played 4 down football can see that one coming -- but your F.O. can't -- it's time to start burning the house.

Hunt went in the 3rd round, every other team passed on him at least twice. I watched tape on Hunt and didn't see this coming.

If anyone could have seen this coming the guy would not have lasted until the mid 3rd round. As to Stewart - I would still like to see him get more involved in the offense, but the early returns look good. And he already has more career catches than Jalen Saunders and Shaq Evans. Combined. You could play the "We could have drafted..." game with just about any pick you make and find a guy drafted later who is a better player. Its the nature of the draft. I like Hunt, but there are 31 other teams drafting -- odds that we ever select one of the guys any of us really like are pretty slim. Just got to let these things go.

Lol what does a player on another team we didn't draft have anything to do with a player on our team? Could we have drafted Hunt? A little 20-20 hindsight mind you, yeah we COULD have. We didn't. We drafted Stewart, he's on our team, he's making tough catches. I like him. So sue me. I don't like him as much as 1000 other players on other teams all throughout the league. But he's on my team. You know who I like him more than? Devin Smith and Jalen Sanders and Stephen Hill and the like. _

I disagree with all of you. This is like David Johnson all over again.
In a way a lot of us saw this coming. If you go back to the draft thread, hunts name was a constant is during our discussion third round. This is not one of those 2020 hindsight situations. This is not some player nobody saw it coming. This is a running back who was well liked here and elsewhere and we are a team who needed three down running back. Nobody in this universe except for the Jets had Stewart ranked above hunt . ....did people expect him to blow up like this? Maybe not but Some teams just don't need a running back, others do prefer to wait (like the Jets) who think they can outsmart other teams in later rounds and miss manage the talent.
Either way this to me is far from a who knew situation.

Talk about tape, he demonstrated that elusive impossible to take down quality all throughout Toledo. It's the reason why he was talked about. Certainly wasn't the amazing offence he was playing in. And after the senior bowl how can anyone say they didn't see this in some form or fashion

At some point you have to hold them accountable for the missed opportunities.
