Tuned into the UCLA-Memphis game to check out Rosen, but came away really impressed with Memphis WR Anthony Miller. Guy knows how to create separation and showed great hands. I believe he's a senior, any idea what his draft projection is? Just said this in the QB thread. That dude looks very sure handed, fast and elusive. _ |

Anyone just catch the end of the Florida-Tenn game. Felipe Franks with a 65 yard hail mary TD to win it -- throws it close to 70 yards in the air. Amazing throw.

I do love beating Louisville and Bobby Petrino. UL fan base and players talk so much shit for a program that has won nothing, and Petrino is just a miserable person. It was good to see the stadium empty out in the 3rd quarter last night.
Kelly Bryant is slowly starting to win me over, we'll see in the coming weeks how this goes.

I saw very little of the game, but I did see the play where Deon Cain scorched the CB and Bryant tossed him a pass with what seemed like an 8 second hang time. |

And the douchebag WR dropped it. In the middle of the endzone.
You cannot be a second tier program playing a premier team and drop that ball.

Got a game down in texas right now -- Baylor and OKL tied up... Let's see this mayfield character wow me... Hasn't been an exciting day of ball, but i didn't watch much outside of the USC game and enough of OSU/TCU to reinforce that I'm not buying a ticket on the Rudolph train

Ok I'm going to be a bit of a dick here.
But if folks are going to ding Darnold because he's a "USC" QB then those same dudes better be dinging Barkley for being a RB from "Penn State".
Blair Thomas? Who can forget that abortion.
Kijana Carter? Curtis Ennis? DJ Dozier?
Kurt Warmer? Drafted before we took O'Brien and before Dan Marino?
Was Larry Johnson a better RB than Carson Palmer?
If you don't want Darnold because...you know...USC ...then you don't want Barkley because...you know...Penn State.

I stayed up to watch the UCLA/Stanford game. Jim Mora needs to go, and David Shaw finally realized that K.J. Costello should be his starting QB. Costello is just so much better than Chryst. Rosen threw the ball 60 times...Lol. He is getting beat up by a bad O line, but he keeps his footwork and fundamentals are still good. He gets the ball out fast when he needs to and avoids the first wave of pass rush pretty well. I doubt he makes it through this season without injury though, with that O line and having to throw 60 times in a game, it just doesn't look good for him.
