If you watch a game at my place you do.It was how I was raised. At home and in school. It is the only part of the broadcast I wish or care to hear. Stop the Nazi NK bullshit. Wait wut? You actually stand up in your living room with your hand over your heart before each football game? AAnd that's the only part of the broadcast you want to hear? And you think everyone should do the same? You're right, stop the Nazi bullshit. Queue the Benny Hill music. Is that a problem for you. Where did I say everyone else should do it. Yes we stand, hand over heart at the beginning of the game. I do not listen to the asshat broadcasters. They are fucking idiots. They actually make the game worse rather then better.

Great piece. And all this silliness is more than an anti-police tantrum...this is a racial f-u. The White dumb-asses in charge of the NFL think they are absolving themselves by laying down like sheep. An entire generation has been conditioned to believe that they are aggrieved, debt-owed slaves.. and that all whites are slave-masters. This is driven by the msm and leftist war-mongers. Insanity. Owners think they gained some currency. Wait till the next CBA negotiations. They will be calling them exactly what they call Trump. This is like the politicians that jumped into bed with Antifa. You sleep with dogs and you get fleas.

The Castro and Che Guevara delusions are always amusing. I've never equated the two. Castro was a power hungry brutal dictator. I always felt as if the communist "cause" was just an excuse for Castro to wrest power from Buatista. Che, on the other hand, was a true believer in Marxism. I respect people, even if I totally disagree with their philosophy and world view, who practice what they preach i.e. who don't just talk the talk, they also walk the walk. Basically, Castro was Al Gore to Che's Ed Begley, Jr. I've always felt that Castro encouraged Che to incite revolution in Bolivia knowing it would likely end in his death. When Che attempted to harness the rural folks anger at the dictatorial Bolivian government, their attitude was basically "What government? We never see anyone from the government around here."

Absolutely and wait until this SHIT gets to the college and high school level. I can tell you I will not donate to ANY cause that I believe promotes "Certain People" to keep themselves separate. YEARS of wanting equality, now they want to be separate but not treated separate. Babies before age 18 with different men, pants down to your ass, tatted all over the neck and no education yet we are to blame for their lot in life? FUKK THAT. Im done. Ask any reasonable person to describe a dangerous neighborhood and see what they say. You dont see this stuff in England where blacks speak the same as whites, dress the same as whites and dont seek to be treated special.

i think i'm done watching games for this year sports is where to get away from the bullshit, not get it rubbed in your face espn has become msnbcspn, lookatme nfl jerkoffs spend more time working on their poses and celebrations than working on the fundamentals like tackling the supposed "class" organization of the nfl, the giants, saw their first round draft pick celebrate his first career touchdown by grabbing his balls -- TO THE HOME CROWD MIND YOU -- and yesterday their "biggest star" mimicked a fucking dog peeing in the end zone fuck this shit, my hard earned money and my limited free time will be spent doing something else Me too brother. I cut the cord a month ago. Netflix, Amazon and an antenna. NO MO ESPN. I wont do anything to support the NFL or NBA. If this shit goes to baseball..same with them too. I have started to study Spanish about a year ago and love it. Occupies most of my free time.

I feel sad for my American friends. Everyone entrenched in their beliefs... This will get worse before it gets better. Edit: Not giving lessons, we have our own problems. good post There's a phrase that I believe originated in European parliamentary systems: "the loyal opposition". It meant that what disagreements were on display, both sides realized the other side still had the best interests of the country at heart. This is no longer true. Now its all "scorched earth to get my way", fine-tuned by the Left. Nothing is off limits, no accusation inappropriate. Facts are are what we say they are. I may not be around to see it, but US Civil War II before 2100.

Fair enough...please explain the horrific injustices they are taking a knee for. Simple enough. Back it up with stats, historical context etc. Thanks. From what I can tell, very few were protesting until President Birdbrain tweeted the very UnAmerican statement that exercising free speech should be cause for being fired from your job. What some of the players were originally protesting is immaterial to me. I don't have to agree with them and probably don't. You have a right to be wrong in this country. That's kind of the point. My position is and will always be in defense of free speech, which seems these days to be equally under assault from both the left and the right.are you fucking stoned? Right: stand for the anthem! Left: Antifa beats your brains out Yeah, "equally". Go home dumass

There are NFL rules regarding being on the sideline and standing for the anthem. Somehow it is ok to fine players for writing "Remember 9/11" on their shoes and denying them the right to have a sticker on their helmets to honor slain police officers but breaking a rule and insulting our country on foreign soil is fine.

Trump criticizes OTHER countries at the UN -- Press condemns him for it.
NFL players criticize OUR country -- Press praises them.
And people wonder why many view the press as against the America.

I love football but most NFL players are scum, why is their protest even a conversation from a league that produces it's above average share of wife beaters, drunks, murderers and rapists?
The whole league needs to get over itself because the men that play football don't belong in the same conversation as the men who serve their country.
FU NFL!

God forbid the cross union(?) lines and condemn Hernandez, Rice, Carruth, <weekly assault/DUI player>. Makes their selective outrage all the more laughable.
