Dilfer told Kay on Friday that it was an injustice to Winston that he be compared to Marriota - that Winston is playing a diff game....

Which would be totally fucking stupid. Why? Because we have arguably the worst QB situation in the league and Mariota has the talent and potential to be a legitimate franchise QB. He's basically a more refined, focused version of Kaepernick. And I'm not passing on that.

Exactly This team is basically up shit creek without a paddle with regards to the QB position. And with the new rookie CBA, drafting a QB high in the draft no longer means that you're committed to him for a minimum of 4-5 years. It would be a giant fucking kick in the nuts to pass on Mariota and then he turns out to be a Top 10-15 QB for the next decade. Certainly a bigger blast to the balls than passing on someone like Cooper and he goes on to be an 1100 yard, 8 TD a year receiver for the next 8-10 years.

If the Eagles want to trade us Nick Foles and a couple of picks to move up and select Winston, sign me up.

Eagles fans are praying to the Lord, and fully expecting the possibility, that Chip Kelly sells the farm to move up, to one, if necessary, to acquire Marcus Mariota. Who knows, if he falls to 6, maybe they can give us their farm. I'm open to trading the sixth pick to the Eagles only if its a "RG3 type" trade. I know the Rams haven't exactly won any Super Bowls or any playoff games despite the RG3 trade so the trade would have to be that more ridiculous. I'm talking about owning the Eagles draft for the next four years.
In other words, if the Eagles sell the farm it better come with A LOT of horses.

So much for the Eagles trading with us to get to six. He'll still go in the first round though and Buffalo could be a wild card for him now.
