I'm not pretending to be the next Gil Brandt, but i have been saying since the beginning that Mariota doesn't impress me. Winston, not so much either. Not at the Marilyn Chambers cock-gobbling level a lot of JI posters were championing them at anyways. NFL prospects? Yes. Blue franchise QBs... eh, i'm not so sure.
I may end up being totally wrong, but it wouldn't shock me to see something resembling 2013, where only 1, or maybe 2 QBs are taken in the first, and neither are in the top 10.

Based on the title of this thread I thought this was going to be a thread filled with DGB highlight clips.

Lol, I can't go through that again Sec... as much as i'm running around with my boner out at the moment, I've been hurt too many times. I can't keep opening myself up to trauma.
If I let my DGB love get too out of control, I know what will happen. We'll draft Gregory in the first, cause he's injury prone, then we'll draft Mannion in the second, I'll be floating in the river by the 3rd.

Marcus Mariota - QB - Ducks ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay notes that a lack of "anticipation throws" for Oregon redshirt junior QB Marcus Mariota "concerns" him. "You combine that with he doesn’t have to make a lot of throws where he’s anticipating and throwing to a spot," McShay said on a conference call with the national media Tuesday. "That’s what concerns me. Can he develop over time and adjust? Probably. That’s why we have a first-round grade on him. If you’re Tampa Bay or Tennessee or the New York Jets, you’re sitting there and you’re saying, 'I’ve got this Marcus Mariota guy who’s dynamic, who has exceptional intangibles and I think we can develop him." McShay ADS that in the Duck's offense, "there’s not a lot of opportunity to show" those kind of throws. McShay pointed to the several missed throws Mariota had in the Rose Bowl, that he has to make at the next level.

I think many here have great trepidation when it comes to selecting either of these QB's. I've already narrowed my focus to the OT and WR positions because I feel they not only are a need for us, but the strength of this draft. We're already getting the latest flavor of the week regurgitated in what some of these posters are on board for. If I wanted to read that shit I could just go to Walter football.

Eagles fans are praying to the Lord, and fully expecting the possibility, that Chip Kelly sells the farm to move up, to one, if necessary, to acquire Marcus Mariota. Who knows, if he falls to 6, maybe they can give us their farm.
