i thought they traded their pick in the watkins deal? Yup, they traded their 1 & 4 this year in the Watkins deal.

It would be much worse to p Certainly a bigger blast to the balls than passing on someone like Cooper and he goes on to be an 1100 yard, 8 TD a year receiver for the next 8-10 years.I'm in agreement, but if we get Amari Cooper to have that type of career, someone's gotta be throwing him the ball pretty well? QB problem solved! But taking a QB is a must pick. You gotta be in it to win it. I just don't think either of these two will be it and I'd rather have the pro style QB first and foremost.

I'm not pretending to be the next Gil Brandt, but i have been saying since the beginning that Mariota doesn't impress me. Winston, not so much either. Not at the Marilyn Chambers cock-gobbling level a lot of JI posters were championing them at anyways. NFL prospects? Yes. Blue franchise QBs... eh, i'm not so sure. I may end up being totally wrong, but it wouldn't shock me to see something resembling 2013, where only 1, or maybe 2 QBs are taken in the first, and neither are in the top 10. What do you guys think of this?

Eagles fans are praying to the Lord, and fully expecting the possibility, that Chip fat guy with little cock sells the farm to move up, to one, if necessary, to acquire Marcus Mariota. Who knows, if he falls to 6, maybe they can give us their farm. lolz at the monstrosity our word filter has become and what it does to seemingly normal posts! As for either Mariota or Winston, if one of them is there at #6 you take him and you don't think twice about it. Even if there's only a 25% chance the guy becomes a solid starting QB for you, you absolutely have to take him. We took Vernon Gholston at #6 for crying out loud! Swing for the fences, even if we might strike out. It's worth that risk.

What do you guys think of this? Honestly, that's the most honest thing I have seen a scout say. I feel like Winston is the only QB worth a top 20 pick. He'd be worth a top 10 if he didn't have his off the field issues. Mariota is a system QB that was never asked to make more than 2 reads. Even in his big games I was never impressed with him. He has great athleticism, but a weak frame. His arm is ok, and he struggles to throw outside the numbers. Imagine Geno with better legs, and a slightly worse arm. I want nothing to do with Mariota in the top 10 and would much rather build our team up and then draft a QB.

That was a quote from a pre-draft scouting report on Aaron Rodgers.

Well played Bill.
I'm not a fan of Mariota's, but I will recognize the fact that he's being talked about as one of those "could be #1 overal pick" types. There's something to be said about that. Statistically, more often than not, A QB taken first overall will pan out, more often than he won't..... but the reality is, we're not #1, and if he was legit, we'd never see him at 6.
