You are just proving that we don't need illegals. We already have Americans willing to commit the crimes. Did you read the link? Outrageous shit. We as a nation will never be able to afford to deport all of the illegals. There needs to be actual immigration reform with common sense legislation for the current productive illegals here. I'd be willing to give it a try. Whenever you add "common sense" to a difficult thing does it make it easier? What you are describing is "bait". If you create enticements to people doing illegal activity you are making it beneficial in the future.

If you're the parents of the underaged kids raped by illegal aliens because existing laws were ignored and borders were virtually open, does it comfort them to know "Americans do it too"? If we can prevent criminal activity by enforcing existing laws and we dont...it absolutely IS an immigration issue. And why do you think kids are separated from adults at border crossings? For punitive reasons? Or is it possible there is a huge child trafficking problem within the stream of illegals pouring over? Cant wait to hear the contrarian blather you'll spew to deflect off of those truths. Oh, and fuck the "cop" he can rot in jail for life (before you tell me I'm excusing his behavior in favor of bashing illegals) The immigration laws are archaic and aren’t easy to enforce. As a parent I would be devastated, the odds are greater the person committing the crime is a US citizen. Doesn’t that make it better? There’s a now a huge child trafficking problem? The vast majority com here for work, if there’s no demand it slows. The immigration laws need to be reformed.

People couldn’t be in a line because the line didn’t exist. The situation sucks.

I agree with you in general. But Dems won't allow it because they think the demographic long-game serves their purposes. Immigration reform was supposed to be a key part of the Regan amnesty in 1986; the amnesty happened but the can on immigration reform got kicked down the road and that can is still rolling, shamefully, 34 years later. The new crop of Dems is looking to pour gasoline on that fire with a wild expansion of the welfare state. Now we can debate the merits of said expansion but "open borders" along with uncontrolled or uncontrollable entitlement spending = instant Venezuela. That's a big reason why we have a Republic instead of a straight democracy - see the Federalist Papers. But hey the new Dems want to undo that too.

I don’t agree with open borders etc. There’s a reason there are big pockets of illegals in certain geographical areas, ie jobs.
