If it were up to me I would start Varly again today. I would have started Greiss. Not saying they would have won, but varly would be Well rested for Friday game 4 In hindsight, maybe. But other than coming out flat to start the 3rd, and a bizarre delay of game penalty by Varly, we might be done already. Something like 80% of the time teams don't switch up the goalie for this game? And he'll still be rested for Friday, he's got 48 hours - you don't necessarily want him having TOO much time off either. |

For anyone who didnt like the Pageau trade, I know they gave up a lot but the guy has come to play this series. Same for Tito.

And MTL eliminates the Pens. Gotta love it!
But I’m fairly certain with Crosby and Malkin beyond their prime, the pens will get the #1 pick.

I’m torn on Toronto. I want them getting knocked out but I also don’t want them having a shot at the #1 overall draft pick.

Don’t worry, #1 pick isn’t a defenseman, so it doesn’t help the laffs at all! my bet is it Pitt gets the pick. Crosby and Malkin are over the hill, and wouldn’t that just be a kick in the nuts that Pitt gets a new Crosby, but without the whining. |

So John Taveras took less money (7 x $11 vs 8 x $11) to play for his hometown team, and has played one real playoff round in the 2 yrs, and lost, and lost the qualifier this year.
Shoulda stayed for more money and more playoff games Johnny boy.
