About a million. The pertinence of my comment is I simply felt like saying it, in doing so making a comparison between the departed could-have-been-President to the sitting President. I was unaware I required anything additional. Two birds, one stone. Posting efficiency. Efficiency should contain some manner of meaningful insight or commentary, no? Or are we just shooting posts into the internets like bored lab-monkey ejaculate through the cage bars? There is more to the McCain story for anyone interested enough to delve. If the MS media, and patriotic knee-jerk narrative is enough for ya..well God bless you. Doesnt make it true. So you’re saying the info is out there to fit your narrative? Oh the ironing. |

Read alot of credible stuff over the years to change my mind, though. His is not an easy "history" to rail against since..ya know..its sooo patriotic and therefore without challenge. I'll leave that answer for Warfish too. Just sayin. It's alot more complicated than "John McCain, war hero". Just a different perspective boys.  |

I am very critical of John McCain, a self serving politician who certainly voted for Hillary. I don't think he wanted to be president, just played it out. BUT, the above is a bit uncalled for. |

McCain was a RINO (Republican in name only) and was referred to as a "maverick" for frequently introducing legislation with democrats and voting against republicans. What people don't remember is that he was married when he was taken POW. His first wife, a model, was raising their kids when she was left horribly injured after a car accident. He came back and started cheating on her - with now (then?)-wife Cindy, who bankrolled his congressional runs. This ultimately lead to his divorce from Carol. But yeah, upstanding citizen and American hero. I read all this before makes him a scumbag but tons of dudes are scumbags. Is the RINO thing what he needs to rot in hell for ? no, mostly for being a hypocrite and opportunist also: stopped liking him after Lincoln S&L scandal. He wiggled out of that somehow |
