Yikes. I don't remember those or have blocked them out of my mind. I remember some poor kid posting about graduating high school and someone else telling him that it was meaningless and raining all over the kids parade.Brutal. Any of you ever sell a car to Carmax? I did a car value estimate on Edmunds.com and it gave a "Guaranteed" Carmax offer about 30% above their estimate for selling it on my own. Seems too good to be true. The closest Carmax to me is about an hour+ away and we would have to take 2 cars just to see if they are for real on the price. Wanted to get some feedback from people I trust before taking my time to bring it there. Thoughts? My initial reaction is if something seems too good to be true then it probably is. I would assume they are just like everyone else...estimate suddenly drops after they inspect it, right? |
