How is Eli NOT a HOFer? Two SB MVP's in games where his team was a heavy underdog; and just shy of 60,000 yards (including playoffs) in 246 starts (222 in a row) with almost 400 TDs.
Did he miss even one game due to injury?
I fail to see why it is even a question as to whether he gets in.

Many cite Eli's .500 record as a reason that he should not be in the HOF. First, I find this odd since one normally looks for accomplishments that justify INCLUDING a player in the HOF, not for justification to EXCLUDE them.
In any event, food for thought for those that cite Eli's .500 record as a reason to NOT put him in the HOF. How many HOF quality players did he have on his team during his career? Eli had Strahan for the first 3 full years as a starter -- The result 34-20 record; 3 playoff births, 1 Division title, 1 SB title. Who did Eli have on his team, O or D, to help him win games after Strahan left?
When considering this, think about how many HOF players other HOF QB's had on their team to help make them winners. Here's a list of HOF QB's who played in the 1970's and later to help.
Troy Aikman 1989-2000 Terry Bradshaw 1970-1983 Len Dawson 1957-1975 John Elway 1983-1998 Brett Favre 1991-2010 Dan Fouts 1973-1987 Bob Griese 1967-1980 Sonny Jurgensen 1957-1974 Jim Kelly 1986-1996 Dan Marino 1983-1999 Joe Montana 1979-1994 Warren Moon 1984-2000 Joe Namath 1965-1977 Ken Stabler 1970-1984 Bart Starr 1956-1971 Roger Staubach 1969-1979 Fran Tarkenton 1961-1978 Johnny Unitas 1956-1973 Kurt Warner 1998-2009 Steve Young 1985-1999

Obviously the SB wins cancel that all out to some.
