I started thinking about this today after seeing 60% of the OLine is injured and out for the last game of 2022.
Maybe we're not as fucked as some of us thought at QB. I'll point to the Steelers and Bears games where Zach and Mike did pretty well, or maybe any game where we were able to run. Which makes our troubles up front on the line and not necessarily in the backfield. Hell, today we don't have any starting tackles, so send Flacco some flowers.
Injuries have killed us on the OLine from the start. Agree?
And do we take 5 OLine in the draft? I can't think of any other positions where we're hurting as bad (yes, QB might be the other)

If a QB worth having falls to us at 13 then we take him otherwise I think our first 2 picks should be oline. We do have a ton of Oline coming back from injury too. AVT is key and, Herbig and Mitchell looked promising. Would also consider a Free Agent Olineman if someone young and talented shakes free for some reason.

We take a tackle if one of the top 2 or 3 are available at our pick. If not we can move down and address other needs. Remember we found Mitchell in the 4th round and he was considered developmental but he played pretty well until he went down with the blood clots which I believe may have been responsible for his last game which was his worst.
We need to get Carr. If somehow Lamar is available then you have to see if you can make it work. Jimmy G and the rest are a notch below imo. Rodgers contract makes it virtually impossible to trade him so thats a longer shot than Lamar. Id rather lose than win with Brady. Fuck him.
Keep in mind, since 2018 we have gotten worst in the NFL QB play. If we somehow can get Top 15-20 QB play we will be fine. We have gotten nothing out of the position for 5 seasons. Truly pathetic.

Rodgers has $59 million guaranteed he would be walking away from.

A healthy Breece Hall along with a healthy and upgraded O line and a lot of offensive problems disappear.

I'd rather Carr who prolly has 7+ years left in him vs Brady/Rodgers 1year mercenary type scenario even if they'd give us the best chance next year. With Brady/Rodgers we're back to QB uncertainty in 2 years (and I wouldn't trust Rodgers for more than one year). It would cool going into the next 5 offseasons knowing your QB will be a Top 10 QB.

I agree. Carr is the preference. He will also be considerably cheaper. Unless somehow Lamar becomes available Carr should be our #1 target. But we all know we are ending up with Tannehill/Minshew training camp comp.

People are insane
Rodgers looks done mentally and Fields is a RB not a QB. None of this makes sense to me.
