Stop scouring Twitter for any asshat with a jets trade idea. I got it as a suggested article on my phone. Are we only allowed to listen to asshats on the Hampur for ridiculous ideas?

I don't want Lamar Jackson, he's going to cost too much and is starting to show signs of breaking down. He's a talent but in my opinion if you have a running QB one day he won't be getting up. Th Bars will soon find this out with Justin Fields. If the Jets are getting vet, I'm leaning toward Carr or Gardner Minshew. I think both will be cost effective with Minshew being the least costly. When the Jets get their O line back, Big Ticket and ATV + Breece Hall backed up by Bam and hopefully use the #13 pick for O line as long as they stay healthy Minshew or White can be successful in the Jets O if they are protected. Not sure what Zach's future holds but the line has definitely been drawn, so either he figures it out, or he watches then bounces around the league for a few years. I think Brady will never come to the Jets, Garoppolo is too injury prone, and a flyer on Aaron Rodgers just isn't the answer and will cost too much.

Minshew couldn't do well on a stacked Eagles team this year. Jackson is expensive for an injury prone player. Rodgers is old and doesn't seem like he wants to play. Brady is VERY old and hates the Jets. Garoppolo is even more injury prone than Jackson. Carr is the best option IMO. That being said you have to start looking for a better backup immediately unless you think White is the answer (again injury prone) or Wilson can be fixed.

Why would you fuck the team you're going to by making them give up assets? I'd just say no until they cut me if I was him.

Rodgers cares more about getting a MVP trophy than winning a SB.

Rodgers cares more about getting a MVP trophy than winning a SB. Maybe but my problem is his age and demeanor on the field last year not to mention the cost. Pass

Pass Also, I am of the opinion that if the Jets get him, they will be in an all or nothing situation next year. While I would like to break the playoff and Superbowl drought, lots of things happen during the season, injuries, suspensions, illness which could derail the season. I think the Jets are close and getting closer to being a real contender but I'm against the all or nothing approach. Get a quality QB, keep adding pieces to the team and winning will take care of itself.
