Shanahan is taking the OC job in Atlanta before ATL hires its HC? And the Kubiak move is not good for Baltimore at all. They're now in the market for an OC too which gives the Jets competition. Looks like 4 year deal w Kubiak and Denver... And this from Schefter twitter "Falcons are hiring Kyle Shanahan as their OC, per league source. Shanahan and Dan Quinn planned to be package deal." Kubiak opening could mean Gase goes there to work with Flacco.

Some rumors of Bowles going after Dana Holgerson (Geno's coach at West Virginia) That would be a step down for Holgerson, unless he absolutely wants out of college. That hire would make me feel much les excited about Bowles.

Would love to see the leagues media reaction if the Jets hired an OC before a HC. Heck, we're having a hard time hiring an OC after we hired our HC!

@jasonlacanfora 59s59 seconds ago The Jags are hiring Greg Olson to be their offensive coordinator. The market is thinning out of the best candidates

We better be on the phone with Gase
The Jets, Raiders, Browns and Rams are the only teams left with OC openings.
Bowles and Gase on the same staff would be incredible. A shitload of us wanted Gase as the new HC a few weeks ago. I don't want to miss out on him because some old dickhole like Gailey can't make up his mind.

The OC may be locked up but they are waiting to announce staff until tomorrow's presser.

Slightly worrying that we are still looking while quality candidates are signed up elsewhere.
One of the additional benefits of signing Bowles rather than waiting for Quinn was being able to assemble a staff earlier. Ironically, Atlanta - who it seems is still waiting on Quinn - has already signed his chosen OC, Shanahan.
Hopefully, the Jets are just moving quietly and can surprise and delight us all with a quality OC signed and sealed by tomorrow.

I guess I missed it, but the Raiders hired Musgrave as OC yesterday.
So it's just the Jets, Browns and Rams who still have openings.
I'm ready to just tell Gailey to go kick fucking rocks and put the full court press on Gase.

None of the remaining teams have an established QB in place, if Gase wants to prove himself, come to the Jets and turn this offense around.
