I guess I missed it, but the Raiders hired Musgrave as OC yesterday. So it's just the Jets, Browns and Rams who still have openings. I'm ready to just tell Gailey to go kick fucking rocks and put the full court press on Gase. None of the remaining teams have an established QB in place, if Gase wants to prove himself, come to the Jets and turn this offense around. Agreed There's also the possibility that a kid like Mariota falls to the Jets. I don't see what's appealing about Cleveland whatsoever and the situation isn't exactly great in St. Louis either. Bradford can't stay healthy to save his life and there's the strong possibility that the Rams could clean house after next season if they don't make the playoffs or at least finish 9-7 or 10-6. I don't think there's any question that the Jets job is the most appealing vacancy that's left.

Not to mention that Bowles would most likely give Gase free reign to assemble his own offensive coaching staff.

Just saw that Mike Martz interviewed in Cleveland for their OC position. Manzeil and Martz would be pure comedy.

To make things even worse, they had to watch the Ravens win a couple of SBs. Brutal.

Will be fun to watch though, except if you are a Brown's fan.

Not sure what the fascination is with Gase. Hes been a coordinator for only 2 years and a QB Coach 2 years prior to that. What has this guy proven that makes him such a hot commodity? Seriously he has a HOF QB who calls his own plays and throwing to Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and Julius Thomas not to mention one of the best OL in all of football and solid RBs in CJ Anderson and Montee Ball.
The guy has never had to built an Offense from garbage which is what he will have to do with the Jets. He was handed the keys to a Porsche and drove fast...big deal.
Bowles needs a proven commodity at OC. He needs a veteran who can build an Offense not take over an offense full of pro-bowlers which we clearly dont have. We can afford a young newbee at DC not at OC.
What is Adam Gase going to do with this ragtag group we have? Hes too young and too inexperienced.
No thanks. If Chan doesnt sign, go after Chud.

The coaching world is basically saying thanks, but no thanks to Gase on multiple levels. One is his ex-coach. That speaks volumes.

I would look to stealing Seattle's QB coach and make him assistant coordinator or something like that. He's worked a miracle with Wilson.
