I agree here, this was an opportunity to immediately close down two receivers. The level of play we had last season at CB was horrible, even when we double teamed others best receivers they beat us. I hate to say it, but if we sign Revis I think Ryan is still on board, there were way to many close games we're had we had a more solid CB crew the score would have been different. Now I hate to give one player that much credit, but we just sucked at CB and Revis I think would have changed the whole dynamics. here's the thing. the jets secondary was a mess yet they still managed to have a decent defense. this is in contrast to the offense that just completely spit the bit because of geno's poor qb play. idzik shouldn't have thought he drafted the second coming of russell wilson. what he drafted was a guy who really needed a couple of seasons on the bench to learn the game. Upon reflection, I am revising my vote to selecting Geno in the second round in his first draft as Idzik's worst move. That move totally threw me for a loop and shocked me. I was dumbfounded. I was waiting to see which saps would wind up with him - and it was us! I didn't think we were going for a QB in the draft and I thought he was horrible from the beginning. So I think in retrospect that was the move.

His worst move was not becoming CEO of a company after graduating Dartmouth.

Point well taken, I just feel it is too close to call, we still had a running game, and Geno did flash every once in a while keeping us in some games and Vick was supposed to back up if needed, there was absolutely nothing good about our CB's and Secondary with absolutely no back up.
the guy was just a putz and I defended him going into the season, geez what crack pipe was I smoking.
