I know I'm goin to get my throat cut for this but I'm just that damn honest.... I'm more down on Rex than Idzik. This roster is far more talented then Tannys roster between in 11, 12, and it was his in 13 because of the cap constraints against Idzik when he came in. Here's why..... Like Amaro. Like the Ivory trade. Ditto Harvin trade. G-Nope was worth a punt and good value at the pick. Like Sheldon. I still think Milliner and Pryor work out. Aboushi. Decker was best FA WR pickup. Vick is better depth than Brunell. Sorted our cap to rectify errors. Did not overpay for mediocrity in DRC and Howard. Still can't judge Shaq and Dex. Better special teams depth. showed Revis the organisation is bigger than the player. No doubt Idzik has had some bumps in the road but overall I think this roster is in better shape than under Tanny and can still be upgraded due to a healthy cap situation. Idzik is an easy scapegoat because he is an ugly buctooth boring fucker, meanwhile the man who was part of the problem Idzik was hired to rectify is still getting off Scott free with no accountability. This GM deserves his own coach, just my opinion but I'm all about giving people a fair shake. All fair points. But if Idzik is retained then he is directly tied to the new HC and must be given the same latitude the new HC will have.

No doubt about it, Idziks fate should be directly tied to the success of his chosen coach.

I have a couple:
HC/Executive VP: Jim Harbaugh GM: Tom Gamble
GM: Tom Heckert HC: Adam Gase
GM: John Idzik HC: Hue Jackson
For all scenarios we draft/trade up for Marcus Mariota and sign Sam Bradford to start once released

Tom Heckert...GM Adam Gase....HC Marcus Mariota...QB I could certainly be optimistic about that combo. Great minds Sec101 l o l We could get Gase in a Heckert package deal

Great minds Sec101 l o l We could get Gase in a Heckert package deal I think the way to Gase is through Heckert. Plus I like the fact that Heckert basically told the Jets to fuck off when Woody told him he HAD to retain Rex as his HC if he was hired. Now that probably will prevent him from being hired, but the question was who do I want to be GM and HC, not necessarily who WILL be the GM and HC.

Got a hunch it's gonna be someone from Seattle. Don't want anyone from Seattle. I'm gonna be pissed if we keep Idzik and he brings in Quinn(or even worse Bevell) BLOW IT UP WOODY! DO THE RIGHT THING FOR A CHANGE!

GM: idfk, as long as they have a strong personnel background HC: Tom Clements. one could argue he made Aaron Rodgers. QB: Connor Cook. could allow us to spent top-5 pick on OL or WR and then trade back up for our new chef.

Interested to see what you guys say... I'm going with: GM: Eric DeCosta - asst GM Ravens... Regional scout who worked his way up. Don't know how he isn't a GM already. HC: Harbaugh - why not? And it doesn't hurt that the new GM has connections to the Harbaughs QB: Mariota/Winston and Locker competition. Like Mariota better, but not against Winston coming here either. Like Locker in Harbaugh's system even though he cant stay on the field. Could be serviceable if he stays healthy as a system fit like Sanchez is now with Chip Kelly. I'd like to hear your opinions about who you'd like to see here. HC:Vince Lombardi QB:Peyton Manning from 2009 GM:Who cares we have Lombardi and Manning! What could be more ideal than that?!?!?

GM: Eric Mangini HC: Bill Lazor QB: RGIII, Mariota, Bradford I have no idea why many want Mangini back as a GM. He is currently blacklisted by the league and has zero chance of success moving forward.

GM: Eric Mangini HC: Bill Lazor QB: RGIII, Mariota, Bradford I have no idea why many want Mangini back as a GM. He is currently blacklisted by the league and has zero chance of success moving forward. He's currently a tight end coach in San Francisco and has remodeled himself as an offensive guy. The personnel we had under him was successful and the leaders of our AFC Championship game teams. He's smart and has an eye for talent but not quick on his toes, he'd be a good GM.

I don't think Idzik's getting fired, so... Idzik/Malzahn/Mariota I would tend to agree with you here but let's look at this and pick it apart. idzik comes in and immediately is handcuffed with Ryan per Woody. Idzik systematically sabatoges Ryan's success without Woody's knowledge. This scinerio makes Idzik look like the most incompetent GM on the face of the planet to an owner, hands down. if Woody is awere of Idzik's plan, Woody has to say, why are you sabatoging two years of this team winning, we can't fill seats, we can't sell merchandise, we are locked down, your out of here, no way. Woody allows this type of ineptness. If Wwody and Idzik have this plan to rid themselves of Ryan and this is all an elaborate scheme, well we have problems and this team will go nowhere untill it is sold to a level headed owner that does not stay in Belview. the whole thing going on right now is very troubling and does not make a lot of sense. wow, I have to start reading back this shit before submitting, I have no clue how anyone understood what the fuk I was saying, sorry guys.
