This trade was so good for Eagles. First they got rid of McCoy who was going to make 10.5 M this year and second, Alonso allowed them to cut Trent Cole who they were not having any success in trying to negotiate a restructure. Saves them 17 million in cap space, and you have one of deepest RB classes we have seen in a while. Only Rex would trade a young pro bowl potential player for a RB, a friggen RB? Instead of trying to figure a solution to their biggest headache QB, Rex is enthralled with signing washed up bully boy guards and trading for RB's. The man is a disaster. I thought they had a GM up there in Buffalo

My only concern is that the Jets become to Buffalo what the Flats* were to the Jets. Rex always had the Jets ready to beat the Patriots. In two games last year versus the eventual SB champions the Jets lost 27 - 25 and 17 - 16. With our personnel we had ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS being in either one of those games....but somehow the Jets always seemed to play the Flats* very tough. How much worse can it get? The Bills have destroyed the Jets recently.

All I can say is that divisional games are often wild and unpredictable. Games go from 45-3 to a loss in the playoffs. Everybody knows each other so well that it's hard to make predictions. The Jets are 5-4 against the Bills since 2010, though. Also, maybe Revis was the difference in those games.

They may have been ready to play but bar the playoff game and the odd other we always found a way to lose, Rex never had the pats number.

The Bills are returning a top 5 defense and plenty of playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. If they land a QB, they are going to be a major threat in the AFC for the next 3-4 years.

He could never cover Stevie Johnson for some reason.

Please define what you mean by the phrase "with our personnel". What are you trying to imply, exactly?

He had like 1 big game against him, but he did seem to give Revis more problems than any other WR.

Well, that's just cause Brady is a pussyfaggot and we actually weren't afraid to try to go after him, showing what a joke they really are if you actually play defense against them, which nobody fuckin does as it's clearly against some kind of fuckin unwritten rule. Rex will still fuck up Brady.

If you're unable to grasp the concept of roster quality and it's influence on a team's ability to win football games then I cannot help you. It also goes a long way to explaining your general lack of football knowledge and level of sophistication when discussing the NFL here.

Funny how everybody here suddenly thinks Rex is the greatest coach ever. You all fucking HATED him. Just months ago. No football has even been played since you all talked nonstop about how much you couldn't stand the clown... Now the Bills are going to take over the AFCE... LOLZ

It also goes a long way to explaining your general lack of football knowledge and level of sophistication when discussing the NFL here. I meant specifically how it relates to the Jets of 2014.

LOLZ FWIW I was never in the hate Rex camp but it was his time to go. He's a HC with limitations. He's not great at evaluating talent or developing players. He is a great motivator which is why he is a good fit for the team in Buffalo. It's reasonably well developed and they are bringing in vets at key offensive positions to work around his limitations. The have a good defense and they are putting together a serviceable offense. That's the kind of team Rex needs to succeed (e.g. Jets 09-10). It would be foolish to overlook what is going on in Buffalo because Rex's tenure in NY turned into a dumpster fire.

They traded an up and coming star at LB for a 27 year old RB who is making $10.5 million this year, doesn't want to be there and didn't look nearly like the same player last year as he did in 2013. McCoy will probably give them an 1100-1200 yard rusher for the next 2-3 years. And to acquire that, they gave away a player who has the talent to be a perrenial pro-bowler for the next decade and a legit cornerstone piece on defense. And Cassel sure as hell isn't going to give them the kind of production that Orton gave them last year.
