A thread for all the inevitable Twatter speculation, "this guy visiting that team and won't leave the building without an offer" rumors, etc.

Guessing that will put us in the Mallett market. or Locker? Or Fitzpatrick. Gailey did coax the best out of him when he was the Bills quarterback.

I heard Suh to the Dolphins....although just a rumor.
According to Yahoo's Charles Robinson, people around the league are talking about free agent Ndamukong Suh to the Dolphins "as if it already happened." This seems like a rumor much more than a report, so approach it with some caution. Robinson says league sources are treating DeMarco Murray back to Dallas as if it's a done deal, as well, though Cowboys beat reporters dispute that idea. Either way, the Dolphins are the clear early frontrunners to land Suh. He wouldn't be able to sign with them until Tuesday. Keep in mind the Dolphins were also long seen as the favorites to sign Peyton Mr. Forehead in 2012. And in the end, they didn't even come close.

Some old news I guess...
Texans re-signed CB Kareem Jackson to a four-year, $34 million contract with $20 million guaranteed. The exorbitant price tag for a non-shutdown corner strongly hints at forthcoming overpays at cornerback when the signing period begins Tuesday. Still, the Texans are keeping one of the top young defensive backs off the market in Jackson, who graded out as PFF's No. 11 corner last season. Not yet 27 years old, Jackson will return to start opposite Johnathan Joseph and continue to play the slot in sub-packages. The demand for free agents Byron Maxwell and Brandon Flowers will increase with Jackson staying in Houston. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Mar 7 - 5:09 PM

Looks like the Eagles are hot for maxwell and mccourty. I hope we can push the, for Mccourty because a cover safety is a huge need.
Yahoo's Rand Getlin reports the Eagles are "definitely out in front" for free agent CB Byron Maxwell. As inferior Kareem Jackson landed $8.5 million annually to stay in Houston, Maxwell should easily push for $10 million per year. Expected to be extremely active this week, the Eagles could conceivably have both Maxwell and Devin McCourty locked up by Tuesday evening. Word on the street has Philly going all in on free agency and selling their draft for Marcus Mariota.

Josina Anderson · @josinaanderson 8th Mar 2015 from TwitLonger
Source on Cary Williams' #Jets visit: "Cary was expecting good and what he saw out there was great. He called right after that night and said 'wow.'" He felt really good hearing plans about where they are headed. Todd (Bowles) is amazing. He's player's coach. Cary was pleasantly overwhelmed."

Source on Cary Williams' #Seahawks visit. "It's a perfect fit there too. You could take out one peg in Byron Maxwell and replace him with another physical corner."
