I hope this has legs to it. The Eagles end up trading a 2nd or 3rd round pick along with Foles to San Fran for Kaepernick and then Mariota falls to #6.

I would rather take Foles, their 1st and 2nd this year and 2nd and 3rd next for the 6th or some similar ransom. We need picks and I think Foles is a better option that Mariota. Keep Geno as a backup for now.

Not a chance the 49ers trade that guy. GM just came out and said as much.

Keep Geno as a backup for now. Kap and his humongous contract are going nowhere and I think he is all in on Mariotta. I don't know but I think we can really fleece Chip Kelly here. Its not about getting even value for trading the 6th pick but more like getting a big return. I think we can get a 1, 2 and 3 this year...next years 1st and Nick Foles. Chip Kelly might be an offensive genius but he seems like a reckless exec (ie Tannenbaum) who is willing to overpay for "his guys".

Even after his poor year I would still rather have Kaepernick than Mariota or the Foles + Eagles' next two drafts.
