So we got Revis for 2 years basically. Good enough for me. It will be nice seeing some quality CB play.

Only 16 this year? We've still got a shit ton to spend, holy shit. It's basically a pay as you go deal, with the first two years fully guaranteed.

Numbers not bad. Fuck that hoodie, Revis was just Donnie Brasco last year.

Only 16 this year? We've still got a shit ton to spend, holy shit. I am extremely happy to have Revis back on board! Our secondary and WR are now strengths. So far the offseason has been about as good as we could have hoped. But essentially this is a three year deal that allows him to hold out again in years 4 or 5 at 11M per season with no guaranteed money. For the next three years its great. After that if Revis is still playing at a high level there will be choices to be made.

I know I'm gonna hate the contract when it comes out, and I know I still feel awkward about him wearing scumbag blue last season, but fuck it! I'll get over it and it had to be done. Welcome home Revis! Can't hate signing the best player in the NFL at a position that is a black hole on this team. You can't.....that's why I said I'll quickly get over the contract lol

The contract is very good considering the rise of the cap over the next few years. This fixes our backfield in so many ways I can hardly say how excited I am to watch 24 in action again.

So without knowing the exact details of the Skrine and Carpenter deals for this year...
We're currently sitting on $30,347,468 in cap space remaining
Add in those two and we're still probably hovering over $20 mil

It will be fun watching Revis go against Marshall in practice everyday. Plus Marshall probably won't bitch about it like Holmes did.

At 32 he will be getting paid $15 million. He won't be holding out. And the Jets may have put a clause in the contract that says he can't. We'll see.

Am I the only one that isn't happy? When he left, weren't most of us satisfied that we weren't going to overpay for a corner? Because it makes no sense for your highest paid player to be the corner? And to boot, the most selfish guy since Keyshawn? Mevis, right? And now, the only thing that's changed is he's another year removed from his best seasons? And he bears the stench of that shit up north? I hope Revis drinks enough champagne tonight to kill him. Go Jets. Yes. He's still one of the top corners in the game, Jets have one of the worst situations. You'd be stupid not to be happy about this. Exactly. +1000. In addition, it makes the Pats much weaker on the D side of the ball. No question, Revis was the difference for them last year. If Browner is a goner too, Pats defense is back to the garbage we have seen the past decade with the exception of last season's rental players (Revis and Browner).
As for the Jets, hopefully this helps that pos Milliner's game improve in a very big way.
