If Woody mentioning Revis' name in a press conference in order to answer a question is tampering, then what is another owner actually contacting the player directly and talking to him? If you follow the Patriots line of thinking then the Ravens should be fined five 1st Round Draft picks and be forced to play the 2015 season in the Canadian Football League. |

Sometimes I will peruse through one of the Pats forums, although I haven't signed up and trolled them like our resident Pats trolls, and they had a thread on this issue. It's funny b/c they were all saying how what Bisciotti did was tampering but the thread immediately stopped and hasn't had any responses after it came out that the Lions weren't going to pursue tampering charges. I wonder why? Lol.

Sort of off topic... Can the league file tampering charges on their own or do they need a team to file them?
Like in this case, the Lions say they're okay with it, but the NFL obviously doesn't want owners to be talking to players under contract with other teams. Can the NFL on its own say there is tampering here?
