I'm tired of "projects" and "rebuilding". Our team is built to win now and we should try to win now. All that's remaining is the QB.If we want to go deep in the playoffs this year, we have to hope that Geno takes it to the next level or Gailey can turn Fitzpatrick into Randall Cunningham ver. 2. Mariota isn't taking this team anywhere in 2015. Isn't that like saying we have a GREAT baseball team but no pitcher? |

I am leaning towards OLB / edge rusher at #6 but I won't complain in the slightest if Amari Cooper or Kevin White is a New York Jet. Part of me wants to take a WR at 6 just because we haven't drafted an offense guy, let alone at the skills position since what, Santana Moss?? Would be a nice feeling. BUT can't hate them for going with an edge rusher….I guess. imo the need for a prime edge rusher has been mitigated by getting revis and cromartie back. and now that they picked up coples' fifth year option he could be the guy for this position. |

It just never ends imo mariota would have to sit or at least plan on sitting for this season at least. no matter who they take qb will have the same problem. as i see it, neither genot or fitz are the truly franchise type qb winning teams needs. if they don't take mariota and he's available they will have only pushed at development another season. i don't have many expectations for qb's not being taken in the top 10 or so. |

And that hat is no where near the same as making the team go into a rebuild phase. Makes no sense on any level. I'm not sure I could say that at the end of last year but the improvements we have made in the off season seem to have shored up our holes enough where a rebuild isnt necessary and adding a few more pieces here and there can make the difference between a barely winning record and a playoff bid. |
