I used season ticket reward points and 4 of us are going to the Jets Draft Power Hour at MetLife. We get to go in and meet whatever players are there and get autographs and then go on the field about an hour before they let everyone else in. Not sure what players will be there but should be pretty cool for my 8 year old.
As for the menu, I think we might go through Staten Island and stop at Denino's for a pizza first.
If the Jets stay at 5 and pick, we will be out of there right after and will catch the rest of the draft on the radio and then tv at home.

So, what you doin'? And what will be on the menu? Just got a call about 30 min ago. Dinner with the in-laws this week. Guess what night is most convenient for them? FML I'm thinking dinner will be at a sports bar.

I used to like the draft much better when it didn't start at 3am on a weeknight.

FML I'm thinking dinner will be at a sports bar. Stuff like this is so annoying. How come only one party gets to say what's "most convenient"?

By myself at home
The wife, kids and the few people I hang out with these days couldn't care less about the draft and always make fun of me for watching it.
So option 2 for me
Surrounded by spreadsheets and donning my Count Chocula head piece

OR B) I have been a Jets fan long enough to know that I want to leave before actually having to witness another terrible pick. OR C) I'm just an idiot. All three are plausible explanations.

Are they necessarily mutually exclusive? Maybe D) all of the above?

This is the standard purposeful Teh Hampur classic misspelling of "Poll" . Jetstream was surprisingly a little lax this time, he usually writes pole/poll. Next time I will say pole (sp.) to show I know how to spell correctly (as well as know correct usage of "sp" to show intentional misspelling). (VTN: total spelling nerd and winner of the spelling bee in first, second, third grades and every grade thereafter and correcter of spelling in people's posts tanks god I got mod powers).
