Hope he kicks Cumberland's ass out the door What kind of blackmail material does Cumby have on Woody? IDK but the fact that he was getting double the playing time of Amaro last year speaks to just how goddamn clueless Rex and Marty are.

Baltimore Stallions of Canadian Football League, Baltimore Stallions of the CFL??? Damn, I forgot about them!! Saw R. Hall and A. Goodley signed with other teams. Little disappointed we couldn't get at least one more camp body at WR to compete with our "Legion of who cares" sub-practice squad caliber back ups.

From his wiki Despite his collegiate success, the 5'10" Chrebet was not regarded as an NFL prospect, and went undrafted in the 1995 NFL Draft. He secured a tryout for the Baltimore Stallions of Canadian Football League, but was cut after one day. Chrebet's big break came when he was granted a walk-on opportunity with the NFL's New York Jets, who at the time trained at Hofstra's campus. His chances of remaining on the team for long were nothing short of astronomical: he entered training camp 11th of 11 on the Jets' wide receiver depth chart; NFL teams rarely carry more than five receivers into the season. Sounds like he was a try out player that eventually secured a signing bonus and then made the 53. It is so rare I was about to ask if anyone could recall one of them who panned out and our very own Chrebet was one of them if his wiki is correct. If I had to wager a guess, I would say for every 200 try-out type players only one of them would land on a 53 man roster, and 1 in a million would have the type of career Chrebet had. Wayne stepped into a very good situation when I believe Stevie Johnson was considered our #1 going into camp. Remember him? Anyone have clarification on Waynes status? I honestly don't know. So he's not an UDFA right? My husband loves him and always talks about how he was a walk on at Hofstra, that's why I thought he was the mini-camp thing you mentioned

He was just offered a non guaranteed contract/signing bonus after his try-out. I should know this shit because I was about this close>< to being his teammate at Hofstra. All I was trying to point out was these try-out type players rarely amount to anything. It looks like Wayne might be the most successful try-out player ever in recent NFL history. Can anyone chime in an any other try-out players that actually amounted to anything in the NFL? I can't think of one.

Some interesting signings from around the league:
KC; signed K. Hill, the RB from Sam Houston i liked. Good to see i'm not totally insane.
TEN; WR D. Long... how many is that for them, 3? Someone's getting cut this year.
OAK; SFA Rb G. Johnson. Keep an eye on that one. J. Harper from Carr's days at Fresno
HOU; Love the L. Trail signing here.
BAL; RB T. Magee from LSU... nice depth for them. Think he slides into 3rd string duties right away.
DAL; WR A. Goodley, think he'll be inching towards their #3 by 2016 (they signed a ton UDFA WRs btw)
WSH; ILB T. Plummer.. thought that was a quality snag.
NOS; OT S. Hickey from Syracuse. Surprised he wasn't taken.
TB; Cleaned up... --R. Hall from UCF (WR that i think will be a better pro than Perriman) --Chris Hackett --D. Brown, RB from Louisville --E. Patterson CB from Ball State
SEA; signed ex-Michigan recruit Thomas Rawls...
GB; MIA CB Gunter, which something must be up with him, his size is too good to go UDFA

Davon Walls Scouting Report from NFL.com -- would not be surprised if we are looking at him as potential OT

would not be surprised if we are looking at him as potential OT That would be my guess also. I have no idea why a FA DT would sign with the Jets unless we were the only suitors.

Apparently Bridge is now signed to DAL? liked better to develop in DET, though neither have anything behind their starter really.
