There is a special kind of crack you are smoking, and you need to quit holding out on the rest of us. I bet it's hand wringing liberals like you that think that removing the confederate flag from the top of the General Lee is going to stop white kids from shooting people. Personally I don't give a fuck if the NFL slaps military references on uniforms or mascots but I don't have a monetary interest in pro sports. If I'm wrong then just point to which pro teams in any pro sport here disprove my point. At best you get the Cavs or Sabres who have swords in their logos and the Braves who have a hatchet. Not exactly the same thing as a fighter jet or any other piece of twentieth century combat weaponry. Fighter Jets! Actually, we should change our name to the NY Fighter Jets! I'm serious. It's thinking like yours that changed a great name like the Baltimore Bullets into one of the lamest names in sports "Washington Wizards?" So stupid.

So, if no one likes my first choice for a logo: Then what about my second choice (we have to change the name of the team to the Springfield Meltdowns though and I'm cool w/ that): While we are at it, let's change the name of MetLife too: Done and done.

Of course the Detroit Lions don't have a tank on their helmet, it's because they are the fucking Detroit Lions, not because of some grand scheme to prevent shoving the American military down other countries throats via American sports logos. Good god. Here are some teams that could adopt symbols associated with the military and American militarism: Jets, Patriots, Raiders, Vikings, Cowboys, Cavaliers, Spurs, Rockets, 76ers, Sabres, Yankees, Rangers And that's just the big four sports. Some have a tighter relationship than others.

Good god. Thank You. Only other team I can think of would be the Pats and their throwback logo with the Revolutionary War guy snapping the ball. FWIW I think the Jets name has more to do with Shea Stadium's proximity to the airports than it has to do with military stuff. Either way the sensitivity argument about using a fighter Jet is political correctness gone full r3tard. Nobody with a healthy mind looks at a fighter Jet and think "US supremacy" or "US military takeover".

Otherwise, Woody, you will pay.

I'm thinking dark gray with dark green if they do something drastic.

The only thing more gay than these uniform threads are the old "what are you wearing to the game threads" from SG3 or his ahole alter-ego was.
