Archer was a 3rd round pick of the Steelers in 2014. RB/WR in college. Small, but lightning fast -- ran a 4.26 at the combine. Would love to see the Jets give him a shot as KR -- can't be any worse than what we have been sending out there the last few weeks.

About time! nine weeks into the season. For a second there I misread it and thought they were trying out kickers again. Which might be nice too

Surely we can find someone on the planet that fits these three requirements - Catch a football, don't drop the football while running, run fast.

I was among those who really liked Archer coming out of college.
His problem has been the same as Holliday's, putting the ball on the ground.
Otherwise, just like Holliday, he's an explosive return man.

Both would be exponential upgrades in the return game but not much else....STB

I wouldn't mind Archer, he's zippy. Apparently he turned down several invites after he was cut so there must be some interest on his part as well.

He's fast as lightning but never uses his speed and returns KO's like he is going to break every tackle. I'd sure as hell kick the tires because that part of our team already sucks big time, but the dude has already turned down over 10 PS contracts.

That Holiday kid is amazing. I'm all for signing him.

Archer was a draft forum legend. I am all for either of these guys but would prefer Archer.

All he does is dance left and right negating his speed. He never goes forward and utilizes it. Steelers third round.
