What is actually wrong with this guy? What goes wrong when he's on the field? Or off it for that matter? That's what what I want to know. What's going on?

As bad as the situation is here, the Cutler-Bears situation shows that things could be much worse. At least Geno is sucking on a 2d round rookie contract that could be dumped without significant cap ramifications. To play that badly after getting that massive contract? Unbelievable. Mike & Mike said he is the highest paid player in the NFL this year.

Third coach throwing in the towel on him. Its a shame b.c one day he is going to regret being a dooshbag. All the talent in the world and he actually has brains too but he is just a jerkoff. I dont think he got into Vandy based on his brain. I wasn't even referring to his college. I don't think his problems are whether or not he understands the offense. His problem is the worst of all, lack of effort.

Mike & Mike said he is the highest paid player in the NFL this year. I understand this. And I always liked John Riggens, anyways. There's a reason why Cutler is playing so badly, its only a symptom of a deeper underlying problem. I think there's a lot more than money issues going on here. I know it could get worse as well, but this guy if ever there was one, needs a change of scenery. Just MO but Cutler has the tools and has gotten a bad rap from a long time ago when he got injured.

Jimmy Clausen is a more viable option than Cutler right now for someone. No one should want Cutler anywhere near this team. we are so bad at the QB positron and it doesn't look like the draft will help us, that this is the type of risk I feel the jets have to take. We have plenty of cap space and it looks like it may be a low risk ( mostly money) high reward (pro bowl talent) that may (probably not) payoff. Really we don't have to many choices and it can't get worse than what we have done this year.

Very debatable he's better than average. He's an all time arm, everything else in his game is subpar. Our situation can get worse, we can add a QB that doesn't produce much more than we have come accustomed to, and has an enormous contract. The Bears are old and older, and quite frankly are in a worse situation than the Jets, and they don't want anything to do with him. That should tell us all we need to know.

I fell that QB is 40/60 mechanics/mind set. Cutler has the physical ability but the dudes brain is scrambled eggs, not dumb but complicated.

He's had changes of scenery and it hasn't made any difference. What's so bad about the current scenery that he'd need to get away from it? His QB coach worked very hard with over the offseason to improve his footwork and it looked like he was making those adjustments- in the beginnnign of the season. Has he just reverted to old bad habits? I don't know but he definitely has some kind of problem.

He's going to be remembered the same way that Jeff George is remembered.
A guy who had amazing arm talent but was a total douchebag, never commanded the respect of his teammates and could never put it all together.

I think part of the problem is that his o-line has always been garbage since he's been in Chicago, so that isn't helping. Our O-line is on the verge of being garbage so if he ever landed here it would be a colossal disaster.

What is actually wrong with this guy? What goes wrong when he's on the field? During the game he doesn't follow the game plan and does what he wants. He also has the most interceptions (18) in the NFL. Yes, even more than Geno (12). His attitude sucks too.
