Don't produce results? Buh-bye. Couldn't give a fuck if Westhoff thinks it's a chicken shit move firing April. Special teams were a weakness all season and contributed to losses.
It'll be an even better move when Shankley is cut and we find a genuine returner (not Hayne).

What's the better move?

Huh? Do they just make this stuff up? I think the truth is that none of these writers have any clue what is going on right now. The Seth Walder piece for the Daily News was nothing more than speculation. The article linked above refers to Armstrong contract status. Atlanta Journal reports that his contract is "believed" to be expiring. Newsday now saying Atlanta won't let him out of his contract. Seems like nobody really knows what Armstrong's contract status is.

What's the better move? I heard the Westhoff interview, and I think he was saying that Bowles was making a scapegoat of April. Rather than admit to his own mistakes in prepping gameplanning for the Buffalo game, he is making Bobby April a scapegoat. Blaming someone else for your own mistakes is an act of cowardice. At least that was my take on Westhoff's comments. Personally I like Westhoff, think he is a great listen, but I disagree completely with him on this point.

Thats dissappointing from Westy and inconsistent from him - he has been tearing April apart all year himself on JPGL.
