Bottom line, NE lives and dies by the Sward, now way they punt, they go for it and pretty sure it is a lock to get the first down. WTF is a Sward? I think he meant sword. As in pork-sword. As in you chug pork-sword.

It wasn't a first down. They initially even called it short after the measurement. This is no "fuck up" and I'm sick of these "human error" excuses.

That's not a straight-on shot, you can tell by the angle of the chain compared to the bottom of the screen (along with teh pixels). I saw it during the game and to me it looked like at most there was a half inch gap between the nose of the ball and marker. You had a better view durring the game, it was straight on. When they where measuring it seemed that the stick holder, ( ha ha, stick holder) was holding the pole not straight up and down, he was holding it leaning it towards the defense, as they pulled away you could clearly see he shifted so it leaned towards the offense bringing the pole more towards the ball. The pole straight up and down putthe ball short by about an inch, which is rediculouse. This sounds likes porno script. Also, on the challenge, and I sometimes do not know what they are looking at, I think they are so fixated on a knee that they forget about other body parts, there was one view where you clearly see the runners forearm come down with the ball in it right at the edge of the "5". Place the ball at that spot and they are short by 6 inches. Bottom line, NE lives and dies by the Sward, now way they punt, they go for it and pretty sure it is a lock to get the first down. This is is my take and I am pretty confident in it. Merry Christmas and don't shoot your load in the egg nogg. This. he was clearly short of the line to gain. I do not know how the ball was not re-spotted and remeasured.

What will be the tipping point to make this the equivalent of WWE?
