Strength of Schedule as of last night: 6. Washington (4-11, .477) 5. Jets (3-11, .533) 4. Jaguars (3-12, .505) 3. Raiders (2-12, .571) 2. Bucs (2-12, .470) 1. Titans (2-13, .484) If the Titans are serious about Cutler, they may not even take a QB. Considering Jax and Oakland have young QBs they feel good about, 4 may be enough to get us one of Mariota/Winston. May not? They have Locker (another 1st spent) and Mettenberg and will have to eat a lot of money (and likely a pick) to sign Cutler. I can't see them NOT trading down for more players if they sign Cutler. But that's just me. They need talent at all other positions as well.

I see Cooper as more of a Roddy White / Reggie Wayne type of receiver. Not overly big by today's standards -- about 6', but the guys you mention are all 6'3" to 6'5" -- much bigger more physical receivers. I think Cooper has a higher floor, but a lower ceiling than a guy like Parker. He should be a really good pro, but I don't think he will be at the level of a Jones or Green. Probably the next tier of WR -- which is still pretty damn good. I agree that Cooper is in that Reggie Wayne/Roddy White/Chad Johnson mold And I really don't see how anyone could be against that. Cooper is a good bet to be an 1100 yard, 8-10 TD a year receiver for the next decade provided that you have a halfway competent QB. A fantastic route runner whose work ethic Mel Kiper compared to Jerry Rice. The kid is supposedly relentless in his preparation and is obsessive over his craft as a receiver. I like Parker and he may present the more eye popping physical tools, but he's definitely still a raw player and certainly presents more risk IMO. Cooper is one of the more polished overall receivers that I've seen come out of college in a long time. Definitely my first choice if we can't land Mariota Agreed, this is all assuming we don't get into position to draft a QB or that we don't move up as well. And while no one would be against such a competent WR, I would consider moving down or taking a WR in the top of the 2nd round where you can also find future Reggie Wayne types as this is a decent WR draft class. I'm not sure these comparisons warrant a top 5 pick. AJ Green? Yes. Cooper, not convinced.
Would it be of better value to get say a bona fide pass rusher in Randy Gregory with our 1st pick while settling for someone like WR Jaelen Strong (should he be there) added with Decker and Harvin? Is Cooper > Gregory + Strong? Probably not for a team with so many needs.
