It's literally 2 good drafts away from being perfectly fine. Good thing our window allows that.

You can go threw every team and do the same thing pick it apart with what they don't have . Maybe 10 teams have a franchise QB most of those 10 franchise QB may be retiring in 3 years . Brady , Brees , Rodgers , RIvers, manning , Romo and Big Ben all are mid to late 30s now.

No, I wouldn't do that trade. Richardson did nothing - I thought he made the Pro Bowl. Williams could be a perennial Pro Bowler after a strong rookie season, but I guess that's nothing. Running backs get hurt all the time and TE's don't need to be drafted in the first round. Hi Idzik, welcome back.

Richardson played OLB most of the year you forget who the better player was year before when they both played end .. I think Williams has a chance to be better then mo as well

This is what happens when you spend every first round pick on a defensive player. Jets over the years had several chances to grab a top level WR, RB even a good QB and passed for another Defensive player it will be no different this year guaranteed they will take another defensive player.

Jets over the years had several chances to grab a top level WR, RB even a good QB and passed for another Defensive player it will be no different this year guaranteed they will take another defensive player. Its is not just that, its is also a result of how pathetic our offensive draft picks have been going back to 2007 -- the year after we took Brick and Mangold. This is a list of all of the offensive players we have taken in the first 4 rounds since 2006: Year | Round | Player | Position | 2015 | 2 | Devin Smith | WR | 2015 | 4 | Bryce Petty | QB | 2014 | 2 | Jace Amaro | TE | 2014 | 4 | Jalen Saunders | WR | 2014 | 4 | Shaq Evans | WR | 2014 | 4 | Dakota Dozier | G | 2013 | 2 | Geno Smith | QB | 2013 | 3 | Brian Winters | G | 2012 | 2 | Stephen Hill | WR | 2011 | 4 | Bilal Powell | RB | 2010 | 2 | Vlad Ducasse | T | 2010 | 4 | Joe Mcknight | RB | 2009 | 1 | Mark Sanchez | QB | 2009 | 3 | Shonn Greene | RB | 2008 | 1 | Dustin Keller | TE |
This should form the nucleus of our offense, especially the guys picked in the last 4 or 5 drafts. And we have one starter -- Brian Winters -- and he only started through injury to Colon last season. If you don't draft well and develop your young talent, then you are forced to overpay in free agency which leaves you in the position we are in today. Even when the free agents work out -- guys like Marshall, Decker, and to a lesser extent, Carpenter, they are expensive relative to draft picks. In order to overhaul the offense, we need to start to draft well.
