Casserly is well respected and even better, connected throughout the league. Please let this happen. I just hope he cleans house.......every fucking one of them.

I think if Idzik is canned it will have to do more with management style than roster acquisition failures. Sounds like he has alienated the entire Jets staff.

I dunno, you seen what he said about flat out failing to give Rex the one thing he says he needs right... No good for Idzik. And that was before the banners and shit and all the alienation. Oh, BTW, I just got out, what's say we hit up your mod shack and make up for lost time?

Rex has Hope. I think id seriously throw a fucking fit. But i wouldnt be suprised Nah, I think he knows Rex must go. He just also knows that everything else is fucked too, which is good. Idzik would just wanna pass it all onto Rex. Ol Charlie needs to clear out the scouting dept stat. Hopefully he's already got his boys putting lists together.

He also said on nfl network Rex is on the bottom of the list when it comes to problems with the nyj What are the chances we bring in a consultant like Casserly because our franchise is so fucked and he gives Rex an extension after 6 years? Only Jet fans could consider this a likely outcome. Lets hope he's a goner, just like Idzik will be and hopefully the rest of the front office.

Casserly would be a great hire. Even if as a consultant. I never understood hiring an executive search firm like Korn Ferry to find a football guy. I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Casserly a few times and I can tell you that guy knows everything. He has a great understanding of the league, where it was, where it is and where it is going. I would be thrilled to see him be a part of the organization.
However, if you are going to bring in Casserly to oversee the offseason that has to mean that Idzik is a goner. You are specifically bringing in someone else to do his job. No way he can survive that and if I were GM I wouldn't want to be in a situation where 90% of my job is taken away from me at a critical point in the future of the team. Personally, I do not think that you can judge any regime in 2 years. I think it takes 5 years to determine whether something is working or not. So far Idzik has preached patience and has brought us out of cap hell to have 20 mil in cap flexibility. Now I also agree that he whiffed last offseason, specifically at CB, which is the lynchpin of Rex's D and in the draft at WR.
I would like to see everyone back for another year. I would love to see Casserly on board as President of Football Operations or something like that.

If Casserly leads us to Todd Bowles, I would be fine with that.
Although I wanted an offensive coach, everyone who has worked with Bowles speaks extremely highly of his abilities as a coach.
Arians, Andy Reid - guys who are great football men - say that Bowes is ready to be a good HC.
Works for me.

Casserly saw the future and understood that Bush was simply not the right pick. give me a guy who makes true football decisions. he's it.
